SEPT 13 — Forget about trying to pretend to have an education blueprint that only seems to take baby steps to improve the level of education in the country.
Here are some sure-fire steps to improve the quality of education in the country by leaps and bounds without needing any blueprint.
Make it mandatory for all children of MPs, state assemblymen, Cabinet ministers all the way up to the prime minister to attend primary, secondary and tertiary education institutions in the country. This is a sure-fire way to improve the quality of education throughout the country.
If the politicians and government who are talking big about how high the standard of education in the country is, then their own children should benefit by it. Much like how government officials were forced to use Proton Perdanas, now is the time to force quality education down everyone’s throat
In a single swoop throughout the country standards will improve when the children of government officials participate as part of the transformation process. Those wanting their children to study at “prestigious universities” overseas will be forced to resign.
To prevent a situation where improvements are seen only in the schools or universities which are attended by the government officials’ children, policies have to be in place to make sure each of the children go to different schools or universities. If we do the maths the quality at approximately 400 schools and universities will improve dramatically. As for the rest of the schools or universities? Well, over time they too will improve with the coming and going of government officials.
As for the teaching profession, teachers’ salaries would have to be increased dramatically to be on par with the salaries of ministers.
This is to ensure that only the best will gravitate towards the teaching profession and correspondingly standards would go up. With the higher salary, teachers would be totally banned from providing private tuition outside school hours. There will be no need for teachers to look for additional income since their salaries are already high. Those caught will be handcuffed and jailed.
Funding for this jump in salaries would come from taking back all the money that is being spent on producing and implementing the education blueprint. There would be enough money not only to pay the higher salaries but for bonuses as well.
Teachers should also be given more authority and take up courses on how to administer punishment to ensure strict discipline among their students, one of which would be to learn how to wield a cane for the boys and how to pinch ears for the girls. There is no better way to discipline than administering a bit of pain. This move will also bring back respect to the teaching profession.
There you have it — a sure-fire way to raise the quality of education, the quality of the teaching profession and ultimately the quality of students.

Crooks like Najib sends all his children to study Overseas…where they enjoy like like King’s children.
Come back…he hear nothing about the results..how they fair in studies…except all are educated Overseas..talk..dressed up like white skins…to program to the simple Muslim folks..how proud they will be..to keep supporting umno B..with children so smart looking.
Study locally…results maybe not so smart……a spoil child….all exposed……how to be Deputy Minister ?

PR politicians applying this… to show good examples ….will get all Malaysians respect.
Lets hope when PR is elected to govern….they will sincerely respect voters good proposal…like what Justin Santiago has written.
Umno B crooks have gone beyond wanting respect or trust….no cure.
They are planning to win 13th GE……by hook or by crook.
Najib is like a wounded tiger.
Outwardly many Malaysians cannot see that….but he is a dangerous man to be trusted…right now.

Justin Santiago’s concept could well be applied to government clinics/hospitals. Make it mandatory for every Malaysian all the way up to the prime minister to seek treatment at government clinics/hospitals when they are sick or ill. This is a sure-fire way to improve the standards of public health care throughout the country.

Sounds good.
But a little imagination could undo your brilliant idea. Politicians simply need to send all their children to one school, lets call it ‘Sekolah Perdana’. Then spend 95% of the MOE budget on that one school.
Malaysia will have one public school that is the best in the world. And the rest of Malaysian school will have to make do without power or water… wait already do.
In fact we already have a two tier education system, Sekolah Kebangsaan and MARA.
Oh silly me, MARA isn’t considered part of the Malaysian Education system.

A self serving government, whose purpose is to keep the populace stupid so that they can exploit them during general elections, a government who shunts meritocracy, and have racist Educational policies, and who is so corrupt that everything is me and my money, cannot form a good Malaysian education Policy.
We need to change the tenant at Putrajaya. GE 13 is coming soon. Save Malaysia from BN / UMNO. First to GE 13, then to Putrajaya.
Change we must. Change we can. Change we will.

I believe the BLUEPRINT is secondary to the significance that just before the EVE of GE-13, it has come from Muhiyiddin’s portfolio.. THIS really is about Muhiyiddin standing out as THE POTENTIAL NATIONAL leader.
Why after 4 years of the Muhiyiddin’s portfolio, his blueprint comes out on the EVE of GE-13, just when Najib, after repeated try to revive BN fortune and failing, Muhiyiddin gets to come up front and centre while Najib is merely guest of honor on a major policy..
In other words, this really is about Najib’s losing political power to Muhiyiddin and being held hostage by the right-wing in UMNO.

If the ” leaders ” are serious about national unity and progress, ensure national schools are inclusive, tolerance of diversity, competitive, respect and celebrate differences, attractive and etc..
From past experience, policy is one thing and implementation is another.

“…Teachers should also be given more authority and take up courses on how to administer punishment…”
And vice versa. Bigotted racist teachers, HMs and education dept officers should be sent to the deep interior of Sabah or Sarawak’s rain forest with only a pocket knife for a week. If they survive they will reinstated.

ALL the Blueprints or Yellow-prints and whatever print you may have will NEVER do much good, if the mind is set on creating different platforms for various people. The Creator cannot be wrong when HE decided on what HE has created. The choice of a FREE MIND to think within what HE has endowed his creatures! All the past 30 plus years, the teaching profession has been used to provide jobs for political expediency, can it be changed immediately?
It has always been the same problem facing the department: when there is an offer to shrink the number, only those who have worked their guts out offered themselves to the department to retire! The dead-woods would just drift on! Even with the Blueprint, if out of the blue, Najib suddenly agreed to apply its content, it would take at least another 20 years for the result to be seen.

Blueprint will turn into green print and then yellow print and then faint prints and finally invisible prints.
And the budget allocation will accordingly increase from one print to another.
