The Malaysian Insider
AUG 21 — Allow me to explain about the above controversy.
I was there on that fateful day as an executive member of Umno Youth. The gathering was organised by Selangor Umno Youth whose leader was Harun Idris and the secretary then was Ahmad Razali Ali.
The whole area was dominated by Umno Youth members and no non-Malay could ever enter the place. That being the case, it was impossible for Lim Kit Siang to be there and did what he was purportedly accused of. If he did, he would have been killed by the mob.
In fact the first killing that I witnessed was outside the gate, on the road. A young coffeeshop boy, about 13 or 14 in age, was slaughtered by the mob and his body kicked into the drain running by the road. He was an innocent boy trying to earn some pocket money.
I mentioned the May 13 incident in my book “The Unmaking of Malaysia”.

There it is……Harun Idris was the mastermind.
Before that tragedy…his name was frequently whispered to organize a “big show down” .
Harun was M.Besar of Selangor….very powerful…at that time.
Tunku Abdul Rahman sacked Mahathir from UMNO for his “The Malay Delima” book and constantly propagating racial sentiments.
When Tunku was “forced” to resigned after the tragedy…Harun asked Tun Razak to readmit Mahathir back to UMNO.
Harun Idris was jailed for 2 years on corruptions involving Ali/Bugner boxing match.
Henceforth….Harun know as the master mind of May 13th….and the most corrupted UMNO politician…power no more…influence no more…under Hussien Onn as PM.

That’s the trouble when the Overzealous and Unimaginative try to re-activate May 13 to frighten (sublimally) middle classes/non malay against disrupting status quo by voting opposition (in service of those whose political/economic patronage they canvass). It will back fire the patron’s cause esp when they progress from skewing interpretation of facts to a total distortion of facts that permits one such as LKS or the author, an eye witness, an opportunity to rebut and contradict the official version that has kept lid on the truth and blamed the incident to opposition , communists and then general Malay indignation. It simply opens the Pandora Box for its hidden unsavoury contents to spill out, casting a pungent odour on the side that has kept it closed and now unwittingly opened its lid for contents to leaked and be closer examined!

However…Hussien kept his promise to Tun Razak and Mahathir became a Deputy Minister…a full Minister and springboard to became DPM in a short period of 2 years.
Tun Razak was a racist PM and Hussien was too preoccupied to unite Malaysians to see it.
Hussien suddenly died of heart attack…and Mahathir became PM.
Mamak forgotten Harun Idris and his UMNO b was born….his first cruel act to make Tunku pay.
What is UMNO b???…..a party corrupted to the core!!!

Who doesn’t know Harun Idris started the events of May 13 ? Who doesn’t know that Tun Razak tacitly agreed to the gathering at Harun’s residence (and subsequent procession) where participants would wear red headscarves and armed with machetes and swords ?
We don’t need movie-makers or government history books to tell us otherwise.

The Govt is banging on the hope that the near 3 million new young voters do not know and what they say…these voters will simply believe.
They are running out of ideas how to win votes.
Fear factors is back.
The 2 Alis are doing the race and religion donkey jobs.
Every action is met with more powerful reactions as TRUTHS is governing the country by the People ..for the People and with the People…with no fear over guns ..tear gas and even deaths.
We are experiencing a mild Revolution if Najib wants it.
His stalling the 13th GE will not help him.
In fact….his own actions …words and deeds will be his downfall without others doing it.
He will bring UMNO b down and that’s the part biggest problem now…with splits never sen…..never heard but all the rats will from time to time exposed them.
#6 by monsterball on Wednesday, 22 August 2012 - 8:04 am
It is clear…if Najib wins 13th GE….he will be a free man….just like Mahathir staying free as long as UMNO b is governing.
Imagine a man who lied 14 times within 1/2 hour at Lingam’s case is walking scotch free.
The fact the Najib dare not announce the 13th GE date is no good sign for all Malaysians.
The day UMNO b supporters realised that will be too late.
Innocent by-standers usually suffer the most.
Such is the sad story of getting rid of a Dictator or Dictator fighting to stay on to power.
But in Malaysia it is more fighting to avoid defeat and be charged for corruptions and murders…..and these self made little Napoleons are nothing but arrogant racists who keep thinking Malaysians are stupid…
lazy and selfish….out of their 35 years nursing all young Malaysians to become that way…to keep depending on Father Christmas for presents and help like beggars.

Under Najib as PM….an appointed PM….never been elected….Malaysians have never seen …never experiencing…never know..the many mentalities and behaviors of these crooks who have mastered the art to make suckers out of everyone.
As usual..opportunists like Chua Soi Lek and his goons are gamblers to back Najib to win and be rewarded well.
MCA was voted out at the 12th GE and up to now…these shoe shine boys and apple polishers skins getting thicker and thicker.
More than 85% Malaysian Chinese hates MCA…right now.. and they know that too well.
They keep telling Malaysians they lost the 12th GE because DAP succeeded in fooling Malaysian Chinese.
You buy that…you are an idiot.
All BN politicians are working extremely hard to save their skins…..not save Malaysians from traitors.
A government who governed for 55 years is afraid to lose power?
How strange….how illogical …how undemocratic….how bloody thick skinned public servants who thinks Malaysia belongs to them.
13th GE will be a real election and anything real…crooks are afraid…like rats….hiding and stealing and want a dirty filthy country to be comfortable with.

Killing a young coffeeshop boy, about 13 or 14 in age – to start ball rolling – to kick out Tunku and blame riot on communist/opposition ? If that’s the plot it will make another good movie (inYouTube) that even hardcore communists in Kremlin (Russia) and Communist China can learn a thing or two!

And they say they are elected by the people and so appointing Najib as PM is acting on the wishes of the voters.
What Lim Guan Eng say or do is not acting on behalf of voters?
This is another part of their mentalities and behaviors.
They are never wrong…always right.
They are maters in twisting and lying.
Sometimes we call them “weird” buggers….but in actual fact they are real smart crooks.
All magic shows exposed as frauds.
May 13 is back from the dead…to start all over again.
Putting out a positive hypocritical act can convince racists and fools only.

Tanda Putera unlocked a Pandora’s box in May 13 film. It causes a chain of events that will disserve than serve BN’s interest. First it causes some nitwit to publish the publication of (of all persons LKS)’s photograph in the film’s official Facebook page fabricating that he had urinated at the flagpole bearing the Selangor flag at the then Selangor Mentri Besar’s residence, provoking May 13, 1969 riots…This not only gives him cause to defend and sue for defamation based on he controversial 114A of Evidence Act (that Khairy says that he doesn’t mind being charged under) but it also re-focus to public limelight that dark incident 45 years ago and provided an opportunity for public to examine the true events than the official version to vindicate the then Opposition/Communists blamed for it, and with more witnesses coming out such as this author Ahmad Mustapha Hassan, more and more persons’ names associated with ruling party will be implicated which surely does not help UMNo’s drive for votes in coming GE. When one tries to be clever –nay over clever- to open a Pandora’s box better remember that one may not be able to close it when the unsavoury contents therein spillout. Much like you squeeze a bad tooth paste and cannot put it back in even if makes your teeth dirty or breath foul and causes periodontal disease!

Any way of finding out who that chinese boy was? He must be given a proper spot in our history book!
BTW, he was killed for no reason. He was innocent and was only hoping to make some money. So his death is nothing short of plain murder.

This comment alone offers the most irrefutable proof that the unirating incident in Tanda Putera is nothing but a shameless blatant lie.
It is amazing that the people involved in the film could think they could get away with such shameful lies and did not even have the grace to apologise after they have been proven wrong conclusively.
Don’t try to twist history. All right thinking people knows what happened on May13th and who were the instigators and the underlying reasons for their actions to bring Tunku down. No whitewashing will clean their dirty acts.
Germans today bring their new generations to visit the horrors of the death camps such as Dachau to face the truth of the genocidal acts of their Nazi forefathers to make sure the new generations feel the shame and horror and hopefully make sure these acts are not repeated. But in Malaysia we seem to have people who wants to continue glorifying the horrors of May 13th to perpetuate its shame.

Hah! So umno, you wanna open the darkest chapter in your history book? Come on. Open it wide then. Let all of us hv a look too. See whats inside. Tell us who did the killing. Yeah. Who killed that boy?
#17 by Godfather on Wednesday, 22 August 2012 - 10:32 am
Harun Idris and his bunch of UMNO Youth cohorts went AMOK in 1969. Unfortunately for this country, the present generation of UMNO Youth goons has also gone AMOK. Tell the Kera Jantan it is a really sad day when the UMNO Youth leadership has to backtrack all its lies.
#18 by Godfather on Wednesday, 22 August 2012 - 10:36 am
You just have to sue them and bring the evidence to court. RM 10 million here, RM 20 million there from Utusan, from UMNO Youth, from other perpetrators of lies – these would come in handy in the propaganda war.
#19 by dagen wanna "ABU" on Wednesday, 22 August 2012 - 12:53 pm
By killing that poor boy, umno committed many wrongs. It was plain senseless murder! Which then led to many more similar murders. It was also bully attitude to pick on the young boy for he was obviously alone and therefore totally defenceless. I bet umno then must hv had a wild orgy in killing that boy. And umno today is no better. In fact, umno today would have been much worse, if not for the presence of a large number of sensible malays. And for being sensible these malays are treated as sub-malays by umno.

I am one of those idiots who never knew who started May 13. What about the person or persons who killed the hawker boy? How has he faced his conscience? Has he asked God’s merciful forgiveness? I think Malaysia should organise a peace and reconciliation commission on May-13 (like those involving the Ruandan genocide, and those of South Africa).
A statesman should head this commission. Malaysia has many to choose from. Do not chose people who become instant jokes.
