The lifting of the National Higher Education Fund (PTPTN) loan freeze for Universiti Selangor (Unisel) and Selangor International Islamic University College (Kuis) students is most welcome as it is downright wrong, immoral and criminal and should never have been imposed in the first place by a government which claims to live by the slogan of “People First, Performance Now”!
The question however is whether the Deputy Prime Minister and Education Minister, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin and the Higher Education Minister, Datuk Seri Khaled Nordin would have the decency to apologise for such bullying and criminal breach of trust (cbt) tactics as they had publicly endorsed the unethical, vindictive and vengeful PTPTN freeze of loans to Unisel and Kuis students.
This is a pertinent question as it is only yesterday that the Information, Communication and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Rais Yatim launched his Ministry’s 1Malaysia moral guide extolling 21 moral values such as patience, discipline, respect, meritocracy, cleanliness, integrity, humility, courtesy, and loyalty.
Or is Rais’ 1Malaysia moral guide as stillborn as other 1Malaysia gimmicry, or are the Barisan Nasional Ministers and leaders to be exempt from these 21 moral values as they are only meant for the common Malaysian populace?
I reiterate that the attempt to freeze the PTPTN loans to Unisel and Kuis students is completely unthinkable and unforgivable as it is reflective of a ruling coalition which had been too long in power for over five decades and has completely forgotten the third Prime Minister, Tun Husseins Onn’s most important advice – that power is a public trust that must never be abused in any form!
How can Muhyiddin and Khaled behave as if public funds in PTPTF are like their grandfather’s monies which they could spend as they like, including victimising and penalising Unisel and Kuis students by turning them into scapegoats in the power play by Umno/Barisan Nasional in its desperate attempt to wrest back the Selangor state government from Pakatan Rakyat?
This is most undemocratic, unethical, immoral and unconscionable!
But this PTPTN/Unisel fiasco is only the latest idiocy of the Najib’s administration had recently been plagued by one idiocy after another.
Recent idiocies include:
• The fiasco of the RM24,200 bid for WWW15 plate number for the Health Minister, Datuk Liow Tiong Lai, which the Transport Minister, Datuk Kong Cho Ha announced ten days later as “for free”. Kong’s two-year tenure as Transporft Minister will now be remembered for the WWW15 fiasco and nothing else.
• The blatant abuse of power by the Minister for Domestic Trade, Co-operatives and Consumerism Datuk Ismail Sabri Yaakob exempting Datuk Isa Samad from Koperasi Permodalan Felda (KPF) by-laws to enable him to become KPF Chairman, although Isa had been found guilty of corruption and money politics in UMNO.
• The high-powered demonization campaign against the 200,000 Malaysians regardless of race, religion, class, region, age or gender who gathered peacefully in Kuala Lumpur in support of the Bersih 3.0 rally for a clean election. The biased and one-sided Hanif “independent advisory panel” is perceived as part of this continuing “demonization” campaign against Bersih 3.0.
Today’s episode reminds me of Tun Mahathir’s dismissal of the former Cabinet of Tun Abdullah as a “half-past six” Cabinet as well as his admission earlier this year that UMNO faced a scarcity of competent leaders at the top for decades due to the unwritten policy of restraining those with brains from joining the party.
Clearly, Malaysia not only has still a “half-past six” Cabinet under the Najib administration, the country also has a “half-past six” Deputy Prime Minister and Education Minister as well as a “half-past six” Higher Education Minister to co-produce the PTPTN/Unisel farce!

Of course and as usual, Moo-yi-din doesn’t have the brains of a cow but still has his brains somewhere very close to the bottom.

I can’t stand wasting my time over such infantile intellect who, very sadly, holds the reins of the country because silly UMNO is in control.
MCA, MIC, PPP, PBDS, PRS, PBS etc. are mere vassals.

Ever wonder why we have such a large cabinet? You see two half past 6 minsters in total make a, yes, a full non-half past 6 min. So there. Jib and din gives, yes you got it, jibby. A one-complete jibby.
So bottom line people: Dont worry. Umno have the number. In the end, somehow, things will work out alright. If one makes an error then another will correct the error. Flip flop sikit sini sana tak apa lah. Tu biasa. What is important is the end result. Pasti betul in the end. Trust umno. Kasi umno u olang punya nambekai! The very next day certain umno people will give it away. But never mind lah. Somehow, someone will take it back again. Relak. No worries. Support umno.

They are not only half past six, they are simply childish. Some are simply bully. They just think they can act what they like. Certain actions taken like the recent of PTPTN fiasco was a prove that they simply act like a child just want to take revenge on some body who against them.
The reason that they are so daring was simply their arrogant attitude has never change. Once in power for such a long time, until they forgot they are voted in by the people. They are just a trustee of the people.

Imagine…crooks and hypocrites keep teaching morals.

The students have done nothing wrong, why must they be punished and denied loans? They should not be dragged into the political power play in the first place.

Datuk Kong Cho Ha must explain why Health Minister, Datuk Liow Tiong Lai, was given the SPECIAL treatment of a free WWW15 plate number while other people had to pay for theirs.
Perhaps Datuk Kong Cho Ha thinks that he can be above the law because he is the Head of Ministry of Transport.

Najib, can you please do something about your stupid deputy? The Rakyat is so ashamed to have such an asinine bloke for a DPM and so poor an intellect as the Minister of Education. Tell him lah, jika tak ada apa nak bikin, pergi-lah main jauh-jauh.

There are many happenings these days that make you neither laugh nor cry. We have WWW15, while this show seeing no end on it and more stories churning out by the days, we have these jokers who call for the ban of PTPTN Loans to those who who studies in Selangor’s Unisel.
WWW15 is the typical case where the heavy weight ministers try to help each other at the expense of the people.
He tender for the no. and he put a price on it.
The result was announced, and his is the highest and naturally he got it.
Every thing is with in the rules and every thing seem perfectly ok, but the only thing this guy is a minister. Too bad.
Then the opposition take aim, accusing the minister this and that.
He was caught and he lost his balance.
Then he keep giving answer that is not really an answer to what was put to him. Then his come with the theory of left hand and the right hand, there fore no win and no lose, no money changing hand but all this was typical of bluffing the people..
The his colleague in another transport want to help him out more than he ask but suggesting then it is free..
More questions arise from this suggestion.
Then finally the transport official say he was given a three choices now, 1 pay up, 2 give out, 3 apply for free as a minister.
then more question follow, he know he is a minister, unless he have forgotten who he is . If he is a minister and a minister can have his choice of no free, then why put in the tender? More question than the answer…
Any way this show how BN minister is just budak-budak .
PTPTN try to punish no the students but they try to punish the opposition. But the students are the people who got suffering.
federal collect the taxes and it is the federal government that is responsible to provide sufficient fund for the tertiary education.
Opposition suggesting if they come to power they can manage the federal taxes in such a way that students can have free education up to University level. But before the opposition. PTPTN is mean where BN washing thier hand away from free education. Opposition is suggesting that if BN can contain the rampant corruptions like the mega PKFZ etc then free education up to U is not impossible.
So this suggestion is a challenge to BN to prove other wise. But stopping the current system and only apply to those studies in Selangor is simply a childish way of thinking. Just to shown anger rather than answering the opposition proposal of free education up to U.
BN is corrupt not only materially but they are now corrupt morally. They have no moral while try to preach their moral.
When a regime is going to end it show sign of all illogical move. That sum up what happen to BN regime now in Malaysia

The whole episode reveal that Najib has a very confused cabinet and UMNO have a very confused leadership. So close to GE and yet they don’t have a clue what is their approach to such a major policy..
It has all the signs that Najib’s tenure is about to end regardless of the GE result. The party is not going to be able to live with such confusion – eventually it will lead to internal tussle that will be their own end. The longer Najib postphone the GE, the more apparent the tussle will be..

UMNO new school went loggerheads with old school thoughts.
These rouges and thieves keep stealing very confident there are more idiots than smart ones.
They keep living in the dream world…young Malaysians want simple education and go to work.
That has always been their success..to create a society with little education…cannot think too deep and minds can be controlled to do what they want.
All I know…Mahathir cannot sleep well now.
He is the master mind to control students.

Actually, our quality of life could have been far, far better.
We are a resource rich country.
Except for the fact that for five over decades, the wealth has been siphoned off by the federal government.
We, Malaysians, have been made to suffer collectively so that those in the federal government can have untold wealth.

Hello Najib and Kong Cho Ha, now which UMNO crony company or MCA crony company won the direct negotiated tender for the air traffic system which is scaring travellers to bits?
Wow, if Nurul Izzah is right, I would never fly in and out of Malaysia. I would rather crawl and be safe, man.

The BN is really, really in a big mess if not in big dung wangi. After 55 years, they all have warped, insane and irrational minds. Imagine these half-past-six and tiga-suku clowns running the country for another term. We will sure be goners. Right? Roti Jala?
Look what our country has deteriorated and transformed into – people doing butt exercises, people wishing other people dead, baking cakes made of xcreta, people throwing shoes at judges, police walloping citizens etc etc.

The whole WWW series was put out for tender. By right, all those who tendered successfully should pay their tendered price.
If Liow wants his free number, he can get another number under the normal process e.g. WWX 15 and not for numbers under tender.
In fact he should not demand for a particular number for his free allocation. He should just be allocated a number that is currently running.
Liow fails to understand the hoo-ha that he has created. He is currently seen a spoilt brat Minister, a disgrace to himself personally, a disgrace to his party and a disgrace to his community even. He has just given a bad name to a whole lot of people.
He should behave better, with greater dignity and humility, and with magnanimity. He has just deprived the public and the government RM 24,000 in revenue by his selfishness and arrogance. This man just does not have any sense of honour, respect and responsibility.
In short, he is a plain cheapo.

Let us all give Kong Chong ha the PEN15 number plate. Every male Malaysian should contribute to him for free.

Rice talking about moral values reminds me of a certain biblical account of God’s destruction of a people. One might think God is cruel or unfair to annihilate a whole race as there must have been some good ones among them. But in subsequent accounts, we realize why God had to destroy them……because, mind you, even the most honourable member among them was a rapist.
