Can Mahathir give assurance that he will not suffer another attack of amnesia when testifying before RCIII in Sabah?

Former Prime Minister, Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad, who is acting more and more like the de facto sixth Prime Minister of Malaysia after going on a 5-year “Sabbatical” following his 22-year premiership as the fourth PM of Malaysia, made two remarkable statements yesterday.

Firstly, he said he is unperturbed that the truth in all the alleged financial scandals during his 22-year premiership would be exposed if Pakatan Rakyat wins the next general election.

He said I could do whatever I wanted even now to prove there were financial scandals during his premiership.

He said: “He can open any file, even now. He can bring me to court. I am not afraid.,”

What bravado indeed!

Secondly, he said he is prepared to testify if asked by the Royal Commission of Inquiry investigating problems related to illegal immigrants in Sabah, saying:

“I don’t know what I can testify to. If I have any knowledge that they want, I am quite willing.”

There can be no doubt that the person who has the most knowledge about the long-standing problem of illegal immigrants in Sabah is none other than Mahathir, especially as the infamous “Project IC” is known as “Project Mahathir”.

Can Mahathir give an assurance that he would not suffer another attack of amnesia when testifying before the Royal Commission of Inquiry on illegal immigrants (RCIII) in Sabah, as happened when he testified before the Royal Commission of Inquiry into the Lingam Videotape in January 2008?

Mahathir, who is well-known for his “elephantine memory” before and after his appearance before the Lingam Videotape RCI, said “I cannot remember” or its equivalent 14 times during his 90-minute testimony in January 2008.

Would Mahathir suffer another attack of amnesia if he is to appear before the RCIII in Sabah?

Don’t bring him to court now because the judges are controlled by BN. Bring him to court only after PR wins the 13th GE and the judges are replaced

Can a rat forget its squeaks?

    A skunk forget its stink?

But Mahathir can forget to remember when he chooses. The court should have the guts to send him to a psychiatrist to verify his amnesiac inclinations at all the right moments. And then put him through a lie-detector test.

You know… Mahathir is quite a devil of a politician; he could lie through his gums.

LKS, u r so lucky Mahathir is not the Home Minster now or the PM, or else he can still use the ISA to send u to Kamunting.

Remember he did once or twice to u before. Can he do it again?

This Mahathir breathes terror and sends shock waves into peoples’ lives and deprive families their right to life, liberty and happiness.

Ustaz Nik Aziz, can such men go to heaven?

Mamakthir the Mamakputra will claim that he remember very well that he instructed the immigration department to do their job well, and so the illegal immigrants coming into the country is a surprise to him.

Mamakthir is fond of quoting statistics and it seems that the extraordinary rate of natural increase in the population in Sabah never caused him to suspect that the population increase was not purely the making of Sabah babies. He knew all along that the illegal immigrants coming into Sabah was in the name of Project Mamakthir.

Yes, the good doctor can give an assurance he will suffer another attack of amnesia when he is in the mood.

///(The Malaysian Insider) – The Malays must unite for a Barisan Nasional win in the upcoming general election to ensure their rights are not taken away by the opposition, a senior Cabinet minister said today while hitting out at Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim whom he said did not “love Malays, the monarchy or Malay culture.”

In a sign of moves to consolidate support from Malay voters for the ruling coalition, Information, Communications and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Utama Dr Rais Yatim also accused Pakatan-ruled states of neglecting the welfare of Malays.

He said Malays “must understand who they are” and “know their rights”.

“In the opposition, there is no Malay political force,” Rais said today when launching the 1 Malaysia Social Media Convention in Selangor.

He claimed Opposition Leader Anwar “does not love Malays, the monarchy or Malay culture” for the latter “had never once talked about Malay welfare”.

“Mr DSAI, when was the last time you talked about strengthening the Malay language?” he asked to applause from the 1,000-strong crowd.

Rais called for Malays to unite and vote for leaders who cared about their special rights and welfare.

“The reason we lost so many seats in the 2008 election is because the Malays have forgotten themselves,” he said.

“For a community to stay in power, they must understand politics of numbers, which states when many come together we can determine something,” he added.

Rais told the Malays not to worry over the latest survey by independent pollster Merdeka Center which found support for BN among the Chinese was waning.

“Though recent polls show that Chinese support is low, don’t worry, as long as Malays practice politics of numbers, we will benefit.”///–Malaysiatoday

Rais Jatim has made a seditious statement trying to arouse Malays to fight non-Malays. Shouldn’t DAP make a police report on his statement?

///Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin today weighed in to say it was “fair” of the PTPTN to freeze loans to Universiti Selangor Unisel applicants to “test” if the Pakatan Rakyat PR could provide free education as claimed.///–MalaysianInsider

That shows that the DPM simply has no brain since Pakatan Rakyat cannot decide education policy because it is not in the government. It is only when PR is in government that they could stop PTPTN to provide an alternate policy. Muhyiddin is just making students suffer while they await a chance to change the government. Yet Muhyiddin is using a stupid argument to cover up UMNO’s bullying tactic, and this time the poor students are being bullied.
