“All we want is just that road”

DAP MP for Serdang, Teo Nie Ching failed in her attempt this morning to adjourn Parliament to debate as a definite matter of urgent public importance “the thug and police violence” against residents of Bandar Makhota Cheras (BMC) following the rebuilding of the barricade by the toll concessionaire, Grand Saga.

I spoke briefly at the gathering of BMC residents outside Parliament House this morning, where a long-standing BMC resident, “Mas”, recounted how she fractured her left arm during the “rampage” by thugs on Tuesday night when she and her two young children merely wanted to show support and solidarity for the cause to open the road for public use. (See YouTube)

Another group of BMC residents, together with DAP MPs including Nie Ching, Fong Kui Lun M. Kulasegaran and Lim Lip Eng (also present were Selangor State Exco members Ronnie Liu and Ean Yong Hian Wah) held a media conference at the Parliament lobby to condemn the violence perpetrated against the defenceless public, including press representatives as three were assaulted by the “samsengs” in the Tuesday night rampage.

This outrage must be placed on the agenda of the Cabinet meeting tomorrow for it raises the question whether the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, has the political will to deliver his various promises of reform, whether judiciary, the battle against corruption or the police.

Was the Royal Police Commission, which was established when Abdullah first became Prime Minister more than four years ago, a complete waste of time and money when its recommendation to create an efficient, incorruptible and professional world-class police service proves to be such a mirage as highlighted by the “thug and police violence” at the BMC on Tuesday?

When the top BN guys are busy politiking, there’s no time for them to take care of this “small” problem which may become a bigger problem later. The PM/AG should intruct the IGP to take action based on the court’s ruling and not just let those police offficers (little Napoleon) who dont understand the laws to take action based on their own feeling or friendship!!! There’s nothing difficult about this BMC issue if the authority concerned is taking the necessary action instead of letting the issue rots!!!

I heard that Selangor State Govmt (Pakatan Rakyat) is holding 20% share of Grand Saga. Does it mean S’gor State Exco is fighting against Grand Saga a.k.a PR Govmt Stake? Why can’t PR State Govmt resolves the issue?

This issue is quite similar to NS death Camps, as long as no one is complaining, the DPM would never set any target for the no. of death in the camps, now, after people had complaint so much that they now set the target as zero death. For this case, they are not stepping in yet as there’s no death yet!!! they will only step in when there’s major disaster!!!

“I was at Parliament on Tuesday and also needed to attend some other pre-arranged functions. The matter should be left to the court as there are three legal actions pending,” said Lim Lip Eng at the Parliament lobby yesterday.

He also stayed away because he had been informed on Tuesday afternoon that there would be “thugs” present that evening.

“I did not want to face thugs although I am willing to face the authorities,” said Lim.

He added that he had warned DAP members in the area and the residents not to take matters into their own hand over Grand Saga’s action to rebuild the barricade.

“The committee also gave their word they would not remove the barricade after it was erected,” said Lim.

Why is DAP alone on this? What is the stand of PAS and PKR? Are we seeing the emerging trend of BN playing out in PKR? DAP is MCA equivalent while PKR as the major party administrating Selangor remains tight lips and probably behaving like UMNO. Is PAS seeing this episode as the Chinese Problem? Watch me lips, I think people are loosing hope on PKR fast. We never change, do we? It is back to that race and religious factors. To PAS and PKR leaders, I want to tell you this: the Malays will never leave you if you are sincere in servicing the people even if the people you serve in BMC are mainly Chinese. For goodness sake, just lay to rest the race and religious things for once and bring Malaysia to greater heights. Or are we that proverbial ostrich. I am sure the response from the Federal government, Grand Saga and Police will be different if PKR parties are united and show their support to a common cause. In case some of you are thinking that going against toll operators is bad business policy, please think again. Toll operators are blood sucker deals, every one of them is.

    I just don’t get it.

Why are you keep talking about this inquiry and that inquiry when people are suffering and this issue is reaching a boiling point now that thugs are getting involved ?

Why are you still so pre-occupied with vengence and attacking BN when the rakyat is crying for help ?

What we want is ACTION and NOT more TALKS and promises.

This is within Selangor which is ruled by PR. As such please resolve this issue to prove to Malaysians that PR can solve problems better than BN. What is the Goofy MB is missing ? What happened to all the excos ? Why are they not helping ? Why do the people had to go to the Parliament when they have elected your party members as the MP and voted PR for the state govt ?

When problems are not solved, the people are blasting and blaming DAP, chicken or whatever they want to puke out.

They do not see and study the whole situation and implication of what might have cause it or delay the problem being solved.

People must understand that DAP and its MPs and Aduns can just do so much. Even though they are running the state as PR team, the federal gomen is still under racist umno and gang.

For some they are questioning what is PR doing, they are not seeing any progress. For 50 years under racist umno what do you see, corruption, inequality, special rights and billions are flowing into someones accounts. But for just three months of PR ruling you are asking for so much to be done.

Just remember, PR members are also human beings…….

As for the beating up of a teenage with police claiming that he used his car to ramp them. If that is the case why not take him into custody and charge him instead of taking the law into your own hand to smash him up, or I forget, the police is above the law???? I am still waiting for the AG to charge these 20 or so policemen for attempted murder. Remember the Hindraf case, 30 over indians are charged for attempted murder when one brick is thrown at a policeman.

GE 13 – No matter what, we must ensure that umno bn do not regain the power like they had for the past fifty years.

I do believe that the Selangor government and MB can do more in this issue. It IS under their jurisdiction anyway, why bring it to Parliament when clearly it is a Selangor internal issue? Why isn’t new Selangor MB doing something to help th eresidents instead? Soemthing is really wrong in that proposed debate that you post about YB. Why not the debate be about WHY ISN’T PR GOV’T DOING ANYTHING PROACTIVE IN THIS ISSUE INSTEAD?

Stop blaming BN for everything and looking for excuses or faults. It is starting get on me, it seems like that is what PR leaders are doing all this while. It is good up to an extent to uncover and unearth some major issues the Rakyat do not know about. But what about ACTIONS, stop with the words and give us ACTIONS. Talk is so cheap nowadays. Is that the best our elected leaders can do for the people?

Does the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, has the political will to deliver his various promises of reform, whether judiciary, the battle against corruption or the police ?

    reported on staronline today :
when the PM was ask to comment,

“On the Election Commission’s proposal to re-register voters, the Prime Minister said it was brought up by commission chairman Tan Sri Abdul Rashid Abdul Rahman, but he had not discussed it with the commission yet.

On Terengganu Mentri Besar Datuk Ahmad Said’s request for the Federal Government to return the state the oil royalties, Abdullah said the Government had not made a decision on the matter yet.

On talk of Barisan Nasional Sabah and Sarawak MPs crossing over to the Opposition, Abdullah said he had not received any report from the Anti-Corruption Agency on the matter.”

Everything is negative, either not discuss, no decision or no reports
Is the PM still in charge ? Even his goons are not listening to him.

It is clear that BN still don’t know how to write “lost’. This is quite ashamed that we are not able to voice out for anything, where this is a democracy country as claimed by the BN. Hopefully, Selangor government could do something about it.

Like what Tun Mahathir said, they only will realise what is happening to BN when it is really collapse and loose in the next general election. However, the rakyat is going to suffer in this coming 5 years, and also better pray for yourself that the opposition at least have 50% power in the next general election, if not suffer another 5 years again unless he wake up from sleep and step up as the Prime Minister.

Khalid Ibrahim (KI) is not doing enough for the residents of BMC. It is not just a business dispute between the concessionaire and the developer. That is red herring. It is a criminal intimidation against the residents of BMC and their supporters who executing their duty as civic-conscious and law-abiding citizens in the removing the illegal barricade.

KI should understand he’s not dealing with businessmen. He’s dealing with gangsters. You do not make deals with gangsters. You crush them. And I mean crush them. But that’s not what happened.

The Pakatan Rakyat Selangor state government must take full responsibility for allowing the situation to escalate. It has failed to preserve, uphold and defend the interests of the residents of BMC and failed to protect the people against thugs.

First thing – short-term – is for KI to be browbeaten or compelled to take tough action against the criminals. [deleted]

Second thing, medium-term, the Selangor state government through its investment subsidiary must take-over Grand Saga.

Third thing, long-term, a citizens’ militia must be formed and forged tto provide self-defence and civil defence training for the Selangorians (permanent and non-permanent) to fend off criminal attacks and work alongside government agencies and bodies in terms of disaster preparedness.

    [deleted]

I repeat it is wrong for the state DAP leadership to think that KI is doing enough to resolve the issue. The time has come for heads to roll …

Yes, there must be transparency. The PR Selangor state government has not been transparent about its dealings Grand Saga. Transparency means forcing Grand Saga to recognise that the land on which the illegal barricade sits belongs to the state government. Transparency means forcing ALL the directors of Grand Saga to come down and meet the residents of BMC, to be there to listen to their problems. Transparency means that the state government must be prepared to even force out all the directors and replace them with new ones.

Substantiate the fact that Penang is losing investors. Dont simply talk cock as you like. If you are not aware, Penang managed to attract at least 1.5billion due to better governance. The following is an excerpt from Umno-controlledNST newspaper report on 28th May 2008:

Earlier, Lim announced the setting up of an avionics plant in Penang by the US-based Honeywell International via its business groups Honeywell Aerospace and UOP LCC with a total investment of RM115.2 million.
According to him, the investment has pushed Penang further up the industry and human capital value chain.

“It will also create an additional 595 jobs. The local small and medium industries (SMIs) are also expected to derive benefits from this investment,” he said.

Construction of the 220,000-square foot facility in Penang has just started, Lim said, adding that avionic manufacturing is scheduled to begin at the facility by year-end.

And I do hope that this would lead to something that PR promised during the 12GE – toll-free roads.

Let PR be the one who brings on a New Dawn for Malaysia by having a TOLL-FREE Klang Valley.
    ————————————————————-

TOLL-FREE Klang Valley can only be realised by PR come GE13 when BN is thrown out of federal goverment. Don’t you know that PR is just the state government with limited power? Only federal government has the authority to review the toll contracts. Only federal government can deploy the police force. When that day PR becomes the federal government, I hope all corrupted BN goons will be sent to jail, including Pak Tong-Sampah Lah. Anyway, this is just my dream.

Ask yourself honestly, do you have conscience for supporting the evil UMNO to torture the people? Torturing ordinary citizens will bring you the worst Karma! I hope you can sleep well at night. God bless you.

Fellow Malaysian, a wall darkness has descented upon us, it is the start of the dark ages for all Malaysian living in RM boleh land.
A proxy war has started and will spread nationwide if no solution is found. Remember it is here in Bandar Mahkota, Cheras that the evil axis of lawness enforcer is trying to subjugated the common people for the logic that the need of the few and powerful out-weights the need of the many and powerless. It is here, that we have to make a stand for better or for worse to either we accept that RM is the final solution or peoples welfare is the right choice. Either way the force of evil is many and everywhere, but……………..goodness will prevail. Ha ha (I don’t think so, but prove me wrong)
Footnote the warring side is the politician and we the rakyat (that include any civil servant) is the pawn in a infinite board game.

After watching the video on the group of FRU bashing up the driver of the car whom they claim is driving with the intention of knocking into them. I feel shame that they are members of our police force who is suppose to protect us but instead are taking law into their own hands and behave like thugs. I wonder what our IGP is going to say on this. If this happen in the West these group of police would be sack and the government would be sued for damages.

I read in the Malaysiakini that the Deputy Home Minister justifies the police action in the BMC clash saying that they are acting within their jurisdiction. If this is true then this Mr.Chor is a bastard for saying this. Is he implying that the police has the authority to beat up anybody which they in think in their eyes deserved it.

BMC incident clearly showing the weakness of BN leaders, PRU-13, it much awaiting to come, but PR is still new, dont expect too much from them, but the BN leaders, where are they in this BMC issue? they are just watching show and let you all fight, and they are clapping hands with laughs at the behind.

Come on, BN leaders, never learn frm the Management Theory, fire fighting mgmt evryday to solve prblm once occured, now only say want to review the toll rate, restructuring BPR (Badan Pencegah Rasuah), what is preventive actions? where is the growth of economy? DPM, we welcome your statement that BN to “fight back” those accusation frm bloggers, be a man! Pls prove that we bloggers are wrong! I believed many of blogger are educated persons, we definitely knw what is happening, the root cause, and consequences. The ball is under your leg now, dont shot wide, shot into the goal, achieve the objective of bringing the satisfaction to Rakyat, to ensure BN to regain. We want to see check and balance system, with two pakatan or barisan are strong, and benefited the Rakyat!

See what is the answer frm Works Minister and Dato Teo, they could not help but just saying that DAP/PR is playing the emotional to achieve their politics obj, said the PR given the hopes to rakyat, and now the reaction is fierced after disappoinment, WTH is this? Rakyat is protecting the basic rights, DAP is working hard, but BN? trying hard to protect own interest. If PR are success in such way, we shd praise them, and means BN, you are toally a loser! Politics is like a game or business. Pak Lah, u knw what is the most important to Rakyat, u can even overule certain policies after cabinet agreed, dont just say this is under court case, cant do anything, i m sure u can do something, u r the controlling govt! And Rakyat has the basic rights such as speak and have own road to access. And Narajaya, another company that is hiding behind, you also responsible on this. And police force, the chief for Sgor police being welcome after stopping Grand Saga to build the barricade, but another side, accuse the 4 detained youngsters of trying to murder (See the Chinapress headline on tonight paper), another example of “little napoleon?” or someone is just become actor or actress, being diff person in front of camera, but diff when is not frnt of it?

After reading all 56 comments above, am sure there are a couple of ‘shit stirers’ out there to irritate and confuse peace loving M’sians who are whole-heartedly all out to get this beautiful country on the right track.
We are witnessing what had been done to us for the last 11GEs. PR has just been around for two/three months and we must give them time to clear the amount of shit that has been accumulated for more than forty years!!! Imagine the former goons shitting once a day X number of goons X number of years …. unimaginable amount left behind!!!
Back to more serious matters, yes, the S’gor state govt. owns approximately 30% of GS as reported in press, but these were all contracted by the former govt!!! Now that the state is in PR’s controll and KI is the MB, he should be spearheading the issue and settling it ASAP, thus showing the rakyat that the team from PR means business by clearing all shit left behind the moment they are exposed!!! On another note, PR is a pack, comprising PKR, DAP and PAS, how come only DAP is leading the way???
Do not forget, to topple the former goons, this pack needs to be united as one. Tackle all problems as a team and see the shudders from the former govt. ( You can break a toothpick easily, individually, try breaking a bunch of them and see if you can!!!)
There are three subjects in this BMC case, the residents, the thugs and the law enforcement units. Let’s tackle one at a time.
The residents:- imagine when they purchase their lovely home years ago and were made to understand that there will be a highway close by to shorten their journey ( what a prime location) then seeing the highway becoming a reality BUT TO BE DENIED ACCESS TO IT!!! ( put yourselves in their shoes and feel the agony)
The thugs:- there must be an investigation to nab the culprits who hired them in the first place. Question, WOULD THEY DO IT FOR FREE??? Then charge them for whatever charges that can be hurled at them and make them sweat it out in the cell!!
The law enforcement units:- is it the PDRM involved here or is it the PRDM – the former abbrev. Polis diRaja M’sia, the latter Polis Raja di M’sia. Already, daily, we rakyat have to be on the lookout to prevent crimes in our neighbourhood and hoping for these units to protect us from. Alas, they are now the ones inflicting injury to us rakyat who look upon them for protection!!! What the hell is happening here??? Hope the IGP will investigate and try to bring a little good name back for the force.
YB LKS, crack your head and use whatever method you can think of, to get those accountable and bring them to justice. We, the rakyat, want the country to be run transparently and fairly, irrespective of race or religion!!!

“malaysia is too ciku to be a true federation. what we need is good governance which of course is easier said than done.”

If Malaysia is a true federation then the states would have their own police and courts. Right now the CPOs of each state take their instructions from the IGP. There is no State Attorney General or state prosecutor and no state courts.

Think what that could mean to the administration of justice and public order if control of the federal government is with one party and control of the state government is with another.

The MB has no control over matters pertaining to issues of public order. How could there be an issue of ‘good governance’ when there is no control to begin with??

  74. #74 by limkamput on Friday, 30 May 2008 - 12:16 am

dawsheng Says: State police force is great idea.

Ya, tell that to ciku state like Perlis or Melaka. They would have nothing left to do other stuff. I am talking economics of scale here.

Undergrad2, it is not so simple. I am talking about good governance of whoever who has control over the police force. Have we ever wondered why the police is not with the people? Have we ever wondered why the neutrality of the police is suspected?

Let me put you another scenario: Suppose we have state police under the control of PKR government in Selangor. What if the State government is in favour of Grand Saga and the Federal Government is for the people. At that time I think most of you would wish that we have a national police force, am I right. It is proper governance, i.e. police must act professionally and independently, not according to who the master is, got it?

  76. #76 by limkamput on Friday, 30 May 2008 - 12:25 am

In fact, what you (undergrad2) said is abuse of power – whoever who has control over police can direct police to do according to his/her wish or command. That is not right. Police must act based on security considerations and according to the circumstances on the ground, not who is right or wrong in the “Grand Saga” saga. That is not the business of the police.

and put another scenario, penang wants to build bridge but the ppl says don wan, and penang oso says donwan. but penang insists and built the bridge. of course the penangnites will be dissappointed and rebel – they will vote against penang gov in next election and side federal. is this fair.

It is a shame that the Speaker denied the motion on the basis that the case was under the High Court proceeding and that it is not of urgency.

By all mean, the issue is of URGENCY.

It affect the RAKYAT’s every day life. If what involving rakyat daily is not of URGENCY, what is URGENT? Isn’t that the rakyat elect the MP to represent them and to solve their problem?

Furthermore, If i’m not mistaken, the issue under the High Court proceeding is just a small part of the whole issue.

If we look at the whole issue itself, i suspect the whole issue arise partly because the neglect of the government/relevant minstry in giving giving out the contract. Furthermore, the whole issue now is not simply on whether the Grand Saga had the right to block the road, instead it also involved at least the following:

    1. The way that the police behave by not protecting rakyat when the gangster attack the rakyat

    2. Why was such issue of access could arise in the first place? Is it due to the incompetence of the relevant parties, who draft/sign such a contract?

The problem is the Malaysia United coalition fails to play SILLY Politics…..Cheras is under Federal Territory…yet under State if Selangor…….this is a constitutional CRISIS brewing!! State vs Federal…..

If the Coalition is smart they should just Bull Doze the thing and let Grand Saga lodge a case…..would be interesting to see if Federal have authority over state……In the mean time keep It Bulldozed and have a Bulldozer on standby to bulldoze ….lest an injunction is sought to stop anything happening there….

That is why Grand Saga HOPES that when the injunction is issued they have the Barricade in Place and you Stupid Barisan Rakyat Leaders & BMC people are the loser…..Rakyat looking at this as Coalition STRENGTH against the bullies…..So Keep a Few Bulldozer on standby within 3 minutes of any potential Re-BUILD….

Barisan Rakyat not using AUTHORITY to its fullest……….You can also it raised and discuss in the Selangor State Parliament….stupid! ……sell to the media that it would be discussed on a certain date….and pass a legislation to do something. Play the political RHETORIC………

In the mean time most IMPORTANT to have a BullDOZER on stand by 3 minutes from site and a “TEAM of DEFENDER” ……Just e-mail me and I will send my Mat Kilau SQUAD there to protect BARRICADE DEMOLITION WORK….believe it!!…..We will catch them UNDER CITIZEN ARREST and 30 Thugs cannot take authority over 200 male citizen……unless they are “wong fei hung”…..and THEY ARE Not.

    Kit,

Put more pressure on PL to reform the police force. We don’t want police who enjoy watching fighting in a street and not doing anything – it is a waste of tax payers’ money.

The country’s security is in a mess; company hires goons and gangsters to assault innocent citizens, and Filipino gang attacked and robbed people of their money under bright daylight in crowded Bukit Bintang areas (e.g. bus stop) are latest examples of Malaysia’s worsening security.

If the country’s security is not improved, foreign investors will not come here and they will go to other countries.

I don’t think PL has the capability and the political will to reform the police force.

Nobody every said that fight for the weak against the corrupted, esp when they have been in power for almost 50 year, nothing will change overnight.

Some have good ideas here but many questions have been raise about both the police, Grand Saga and our MPs. All must be address. Some in the website are just here to stir trouble with no solution other than to be extremely negative to the point of lying or making lies. Almost as good as those cheap British media screaming “I had sex with an fish” in the front pages. Well, good on those who have come up with solution with the problem – no matter how silly it is, they are still contributing to a solutions, otherwise, we back up our elected MPs and they just have to deliver and act within the law….no use if those MPs are kicked out or put in prison under ISA.

The real culprit are BN – they have been in power in 2006 when the Grand Saga deal was made – why didn’t BN do anything about it ? Why didn’t it address the concern of BMC they when THEY WERE COMPLAINING ABOUT IT ? WHY DID IT HAVE TO GENERATE TO URBAN WARFARE AT BMC ? Will the BN take the fight to a new level – down into the street with physical violence ? Is this how BN will react if they ever lose power – just have to remember the kris waving incident and remember those words.

“State police force is a good idea”

YES. Dawsheng and Limkamput are right. State police force is a good idea. The PDRM needs breaking up. I believe it’s not enough to have an IPCMC. The PDRM needs “restructuring”. There should be overlapping and parallel jurisdictions to ensure bureaucratic expansion in terms of personnel and resources (not to be confused with red-tap – processes and procedures). The state police must pitted against the national police within limits to ensure healthy competition. The posts of the state CPO and his deputy must be subjected to election (like local councils). There should be a state police commissioner who is a semi-civilian official representing the state government appointed to oversee and monitor the state police force. Funny thing about Malaysia is that bureaucracy is expanded in the wrong place and wrong manner.

There must be a complete overhaul and revamping of the PDRM. The Old Order must give way to the New Order. To support the state police and bolster its effectiveness, etc. there should also be a auxilliary force at a state level complemented by a people’s volunteer corps or vigilante corps.

The time has come for the DE-centralisation of the PDRM.

  99. #99 by PetirRoket on Friday, 30 May 2008 - 11:06 am

There should be BOTH a class action and individual suit against the police and Grand Saga. Legal proceedings should also be initiated against the Home Minister, the IGP and the Selangor CPO for negligence in the performance of duty. Public safety was NOT upheld contrary to the Mr. Denial Syndrome, Hamid Albar but severely compromised to say the least. Injured and aggrieved parties should be compensated with both restitutive and punitive damages.

Pressure must be brought to bear on the PDRM and Attorney-General to prosecute the thugs and police officers, including SB who were involved in the violence and criminal intimidation against the people!

A suit should also be considered against the management of Grand Saga for conspiracy to aid, abet and inciting the guilty parties to bully the the residents of BMC and others. There is a causal link between the violence which flared and the request by Grand Saga for “protection”. It is the people which needs protection, not Grand Saga.

Let us get one thing clear: Khalid Ibrahim is dead wrong if he continues to think it is a business dispute. It hell not a business dispute between Grand Saga versus Narajaya, but the recalcitrance of Grand Saga in not heeding the legitimate wishes of the residents of BMC to enjoy the convenience and ease of travelling to and fro without having to pay the unjustifiable toll. It’s Grand Saga versus the residents of BMC.

The people have spoken. It’s time to act.

  100. #100 by PetirRoket on Friday, 30 May 2008 - 11:19 am

How does the police maintain law and order? By being NEUTRAL. By PREVENTING chaos and DISorder, preventing bloodshed, etc. The neutrality and professionalism of the police is in doubt. Perhaps research could be done to inquire if the failure to uphold professionalism in the police force can be a cause of legal action, especially when we have the case of the Grand Saga versus BMC residents. The CONDUCT of the police was highly dubious to say the least and contrary to expectation.

Who is the Exco member in charge of security and public order? Why is he keeping mum on the issue? If there is no such portfolio, one should be created. He or She should be the state security coordinator to ensure that the state government keep tabs on the security situation in the state at all times. There should be a holistic and total approach to implementing security measures in the state so that the coordinator also work with his fellow Exco members to ensure that security action plans are integrated into the overall state development projects and programmes.

Police misconduct always represent a blow to public security as police credibility and integrity are at stake. It goes without saying that the high rate crime in the Klang Valley is due to mis-allocation of police personnel which does not match the resources available such police cars. How can there be patrol in the streets when are no police personnel involved to man the cars?

Let’s keep a running PUBLIC LOG on all the efforts that the BN-led government is making to punish the electorate for dumping them in Kelantan, Kedah, Penang, Perak, Selangor and FT Kuala Lumpur.

    1. Blocking the access road that in effect punishes and forces road users, especially BMC residents, to pay 90sen toll to their cronies.

    2. Scrapping RapidKL subsidy will force the lower income folk in KL to fork out more in terms of fares across board for all bus fares.

What else…? Let all those BN supporters know how ‘their gomen’ is punishing them as well by puncturing holes in their pockets.

ADAM YONG IBNI ABDULLAH & devilmaster Says:

“you still owe YB Lim an apology.
you still owe devilmaster an apology.
you still owe YB Theresa an apology.”

“”Beside Teresa, don’t ever forget you still owe Uncle Kit an apology too. oops.. i almost forgot, you still owe me an apology too for accusing me of calling Malaysia as Bodohland.”

Had to agree with you guys on calling for an apology.

    But

Apology is what you will not get!

Will you apologised for doing your job?

Cluessless BN still sees internet as a form of media to spread lies and dissent.

    they still don’t get it.

they thought an eye for an eye is the best recourse.

to them, cheap shot is all they can master, and you do not apologised for doing your job, no matter how lousy and how against your principle is.

A cyberscum, by any other name is still a SCUM!

    – My heart goes out to this Madam.

    – On top of the request for road access, we need the IPCMC to prevent such tragedies from recurring.

    – Has BN not realised that this was part of the reason for their catastrophic loss?

    – On hindsight, perhaps BN has not lost enough to realise this ;)

What is a road to the UMNO scumbags when there are bigger fishes to fry. Maybank pays an inflated price of 4.6X book to Temasek to take control of BII in Indonesia. In contrast the average price of a bank in Hong Kong is 2.5X book, and China won’t even allow their banks to pay higher than 2.85X book for new acquisitions.

[Read this for a better picture of bank valuations: http://bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601087&sid=a38Qu7HvpEuA&refer=home%5D

Are we really stupid or is there a side deal where some of the excess funds will be channeled to ? Killer, is this the typical “bodoh sombong” of your bosses being taken to the cleaners?

  106. #106 by limkamput on Friday, 30 May 2008 - 2:41 pm

    Godfather,
One way to find out is to ask the sellers of BII whether they really got the amount paid for by Maybank. May be we should ask Singapore Government to declare exactly how much Tamasek gets from the stake sold. What is the commission like for this deal?

I am beginning to feel depressed when coming here. Do you know what the strategy is now? In this trying time, what the thieves do is to steal as much as they can and to plunder from as many sources as they can get. After all, it is end time for them. Get as much as possible and get out. Create confusion and diversion so that the oppositions really don’t know what to target on now. Even killer, the mah chai of thieves, is getting confused now.

  107. #107 by katdog on Friday, 30 May 2008 - 3:15 pm

Killer is once again exposed as a blatant liar. your list of apologies is growing. Until you apologize and provide good reasons as to why you have slandered people, don’t expect that anyone here should treat anything you say as nothing more then lies.

MB Khalid is now taking action. He is calling for an EGM and is also asking to check Grand Saga’s accounts to see whether the company’s money was used to pay off the thugs.

The blame should not rest solely on the PR government. What has the Malaysian Highway Authority done throughout this? Nothing. The reason why we don’t make any demands here for the federal government to do anything cause we know exactly on whose side they stand. And its definitely not on the people’s side.

  108. #108 by Godfather on Friday, 30 May 2008 - 5:30 pm

    Limkamput:

Temasek is not exactly a transparent vehicle. They will never reveal the commissions they pay to middlemen or con-sultans. Look at the deal that they made with Taksin Shinawatra – full of side letters, side deals, offshore structure, etc.

Back home, these guys are trying to steal as much as possible because if there’s anything useful that they have learnt from March 8, it is the fact that political life is short. Of course they are now trying to hit back at people like Khalid, and they send their cybertroopers like Killer to pollute this and other blogs. Now when we label UMNO as a den of thieves, all Killer can say is “what about Khalid ? Wasn’t he part of the Guthrie privatisation scheme ?”. It was part of UMNO’s grand privatisation schemes under Mahathir, but this part is conveniently forgotten. Just like the ECM Libra case – if the thieves don’t have an answer, just sweep it under the carpet.

“Damocles, please read the Federation of Malaysia Constitution – Police and policing are federal matters. We have national police force, not state police like for example in the U.S.” – Limkamput

    Thanks for the enlightenment, Limkamput.
I was of course thinking about the U.S.
In fact, about N.Y. where the mayor did an excellent job of reforming the police.
In fact, if the PR were to become the government, it should have such a system in place.

  110. #110 by AhPek on Friday, 30 May 2008 - 5:54 pm

Stop asking Killer to apologise, guys. He is gone as ‘Killer’ but will be back masquerading under another name.
In any case wasn’t he RealWorld in his previous life?

If in S’pore, those thug who beat up people can be awarded with 3 strokes (or more) of the rotan. should Msia follow this??

  112. #112 by lchk on Friday, 30 May 2008 - 10:08 pm

Killer has been lying his pants off since he started posting in this blog.

Declares that he knows a lot but in reality all fabrications spun from his addled mind.

I caught him LYING when he claimed that the standard of living for the average Malaysian is almost the same as for the average Singapore and now the Administrator of this blog has hung his sorry behind out to dry for SLANDERING first Kit and now Teresa Kok.

There is only but one solution to this problem, get rid of the BN once & for all, very soon this September. Just hope Anwar will not forget his pledges; cause only this man can save us, anyone else, non-malay will be branded racist. Anything else is just a waste of time, Incompetent leaders, corrupt ministers, inefficient puclic servants, police/FRU acting as thugs, the list is endless, the rot starts at the very top, speads & ends right at the bottom like cancer.
