This racist bigot should have been detained and charged with sedition as soon as he spewed racial hatred against the Chinese. Instead, the police wasted time to detain Tian Chua, Tamrin Ghafar and Haris Ibrahim. Worse, the police even investigated an 86 year old harmless old man.

Stupid rural voters care about who shakes their hand, who is friendly with them, whether their drains are cleaned frequently, roads are maintained, they have regular piped water, BR1M etc but not about poor education system, rampant corruption, poor healthcare system, human rights abuses, poverty, inflation and rising cost of living among others.

If stupidity was a crime, most rural folk would be in jail.

We heard seditious statements uttered by people right after the election and yet the authority did nothing, it gave the impression that seditious act has been withdrawn. Now suddenly one young student made a call, out of anger perhaps, and he is arrested as if he could overthrow the government. If the government is so easily overthrown with a call by a student who has no organization to carry it out, can we thrust the government to protect us against external threat?

The BN government proves that there is no reform and the BN will carry on its old way by allowing rule by law to take place in a transparent double-standards way. How arrogant is the government in power?

If the Chinese cannot have their freedom to vote, how then can Malaysia claim that it practices parliamentary democracy where the citizens have the right to vote? The issue is whether the government accepts that citizens have the freedom; if they have, what is there for the government to complain on how they vote?

Voting against the government is betrayal, then why does the government conduct the betrayal exercise for the population to act on it?

Too many people spoke too early after the elections when they have not had the time and the relevant information to make accurate, truthful and balanced opinions after careful analysis.

As a result, comments and conclusions such as ‘Chinese tsunami’,'anti-Malay’, ‘threaten national unity and security’ and the like are most unfortunate and are now firmly stuck in the minds of many people, hard to change despite latest analyses that proves otherwise. It is also unfortunate that many people and the media choose to poke fire. It is also unfortunate that we are now stuck with a lame duck government unable to lead or to provide confidence when these are most needed now.
