Let Us Vote this Chief Minister out

This piece by Richard Teo is taken down following Vehir’s post and Jee’s email that the demolition of the Sri Penyachi Amman temple in Tambak Paya, Melaka had taken place some four months ago, and not two days ago.

As all the posts have also been removed, posters concerned are welcome to re-post suitably amended points-of-view on other threads.

Many thanks to Vehir and Jee. Apologies to all for this mistake.

Time is the essence of many things but I don’t how it applies in this case but I certainly don’t think it will change the fact that Sri Penyachi Amman temple in Tambak Paya, Melaka was demolished. I am still pissed on Ali Rustam!

Thanks for totally removing the article after reading my emails. I am an Indian. Vehir means in Tamil ‘root’.

    Why was it demolished?

    “Why?”. The eternal question.

But you won’t get any answers. Not in Bolehland at least.

It applies because whilst everyone agrees that the spade of demolishment of indian temples over time trampled on religious senstivities, contradicted the Freddom to Religion and reflects an unwillingness on the part of authorities to address the issues arising from the demolishment, the main gravament of the charge against the Malaccan Chief Minister based on Sri Penyachi Amman temple in Tambak Paya, Melaka being demolished 2 days ago immediately after Hindraf’s protests was that the CM was insensitive bordering on inciting an incendiary situation with all kinds of insinuations of motives (including reference to May 13 as suggested by some) coming to mind.

The fact that the demolishment was 4 months ago changes the context of the piece and invalidate some of its inferences and conclusions, which if allowed to remain would be unfair to the CM.

In the context of the piece, time was the essence from which various inferences were drawn. When Sri Penyachi Amman temple was demolished is central, in the context, to Teo’s piece and since the date/time is a crucial factual error, the piece ought rightly to be withdrawn by Kit, and he has done so at the soonest opportunity upon notice of the material error for that reason or otherwise he would be accused of not withdrawing errors/lies perpetrated on his blog, which is an offence under the Multimedia Communications Act, and the CM could even contemplate suing on libel.

    LKS,
I wish to apologise for the error in the timing of the incident in my article “Let us vote the Chief Minister out”. The error is with respect to the timing of the demolition but nevertheless the temple was indeed demolished albeit at an earlier date.I quoted the incident from Ronie Liu’s blog in good faith and sadly the date of the incident was wrong. However this does not in any way detract from the fact that the Chief Minister was wrong and arrogant to utter the words that Hindraf participants should have their citizenship revoked. The rest of the article with respect to his stupid action of setting a time frame for culling of 100,000 pigs remain intact.

Does anyone know that every 20th American president died at the White House? Check the history and see.

This is because the US government has not been fair to the native Red Indians and the Red Indians cursed the US government.

The power of curse and prayers are so powerful that it could bring a nation down.

Saddam Hussein was cursing Israel and the Jewish. In the end he was hanged and the country of Iraq now in chao. The reason is anti semitic would bring curse from the God. As recorded in Bible that God has blessed all decendents of Abraham (Jewish).

Seek justice and direction from the God peacefully is just enough and powerful. Pray to remove a person is just easy to do!
