No need for Pakatan Rakyat-controlled states of Penang, Kedah, Kelantan and Selangor to dissolve ahead of Parliament – as 13GE must be held latest by May 25 if there is going to be simultaneous Parliament/State GE

Should the Pakatan Rakyat-controlled states of Penang, Kedah, Kelantan and Selangor dissolve ahead of Parliament if the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Razak continues to be indecisive despite the automatic dissolution of the Negri Sembilan State Assembly?

There are respective pros and cons but on the balance, I do not think there is any need for the Pakatan Rakyat-controlled states of Penang, Kedah, Kelantan and Selangor to dissolve ahead of Parliament as the 13th General Elections must be held latest by May 25 if there is going to be simultaneous Parliament/State general elections.

It is the prerogative for each state government through the Chief Minister or Mentri Besar and the Ruler concerned to decide when to dissolve the respective State Assemblies as there is nothing in the Federal or State Constitutions which require any State Government to wait for the cue from the dissolution of Parliament before there could be a dissolution of any State Assembly.

However, as Parliament and the various State Assemblies have already been pushed to the last lap of their tenures, with Parliament already exceeding its five-year natural life and the Negri Sembilan State Assembly to be automatically dissolved on midnight tonight, followed by Pahang (April 5), Johor and Malacca (April 19), Selangor (April 20), Perak, Perlis and Kelantan (April 26) before Parliament is automatically dissolved (April 27), no distinct advantage is likely to be accrued from any early dissolution of the Pakatan Rakyat-state governments.

The longer jib drags the GE, the less likely there will be any GE at all.

What jib does at present and did over the last so many months are nothing but a big big continuous wayang. He is stuck and does not know what to do. The possibility of umno losing as recorded by the writings on the wall are much greater than he had expected.

Let the countdown be protracted till Parliament automatically dissolve on April, 27th. as the pressure builds up to ‘boiling point’ by then for Ah-C-4,MaMak,Moodin@Bumno &Others. As it is, C4 already having sleepless night and in no time will go coo-coo if not “puak mai”. The pressure is already on Bumno/bn and is for Pakatan Rakyat to strategise on this scenario -not to say capitalise. As Kei-Bo / Bo-Hood, Kiasi, Kiasu dragged further it’s going to infuriate his own camp more – as by the look of it ONLY C4 himself and his RosMak knows and decides.
SO, the pressure IS on C4 and his worry, headache only.

whatever it is, he holds power to advise the Agong to resolve the parliament prior to Apr 28, he can still wait until time lapse..

he does not care if state or parliament polls carried out simultaneously or not.

It’s a sickening waiting game that Najib is playing…simply because he has no faith in winning the 13t GE…and win he must..for the love of his life.
Najib cannot hide the truths..and Mahathir knows that to well….that his puppet cannot win…and so he hints…Najib may need to give way.
    Now…Laws may take over.
No matter what..the die is cast…Najib will never be an elected PM.
He is still living in a dream….created by Mahathir for him…as repayments to Razak
People Power will vote to get rid of corruptions and double standards….so the politicians can talk as much as they like…Najib can give out millions..as much as he likes…WE ARE READY.

What MaMak@Bumno done to this Nation Is Unsustainable. MaMak at his age just can’t let go, with the Billions in hand and a resurgent AI gives him nightmare.
So, the pressure on them they are the CROOKS !
