Nobody saw the storm coming,
But it did, with people’s blessing.
Up North, there was a tsunami,
Which united folks, just like me.
It brought renewed hopes to people,
Held high as the highest steeple.
Now the tsunami is spreading;
Johoreans are now expecting,
A new dawning for their belief,
To realize their hope, relief.
Let the wind of change start to blow,
Let our dear nation grow and glow.
Like the myriad drops of water,
When split, are easily scattered,
But unified, form the ocean,
Ever powerful, with option.
Folks, too, when massed and united,
Can make scoundrels flee, defeated.
Like the ocean of tiny drops,
When pushed with a wakened complot,
Will form the mighty tsunami.
Unite all the you, he and me,
To create the same mighty impart,
With a real strength of great compact.
People of sane mind, united,
Acting as one, consolidated,
Can raise the tsunami-like storm,
All conquering, righteous and strong,
To sweep out all the corruptions,
Flush out the discriminations.
Hope for that better tomorrow,
Must start its flight like the arrow,
Sprang with righteous, unified might,
In the direction of what’s right,
For our future generations,
Free of unfair deprivations.
Johoreans, stand up, be counted.
Let victory be celebrated,
For the start of a true nation,
Full of unity, compassion.
Let moral people lead the State,
To cleanse racism from the slate.
Let not corruptions rule the day.
Rid exploitations without delay.
Come this general election,
Make the very best selection,
Of people of integrity,
To rule our land with sanity.
