Come Election Day

If this election
Sees the racists’ foul return,
Blame ourselves for that,
For the nation’s tragic turn.
Let’s walk with heads high,
Clean up the nation’s fester;
Show the whole wide world,
Malaysians can do better!
Malaysia is us:
We, children of this blessed land,
Must ensure its best.
Let’s make Malaysia real grand.
Elections and votes
Are citizens’ sacred right,
To put right the State,
To actualize “Right is might”.

Let not vile scoundrels
Steal this coming election.
Let democracy
Shine with people’s selection!
Only the good folks,
Free of stains of corruption,
Filled full of wisdom,
Can lead without exploitation.
Only moral folks,
Who differentiate right from wrong,
Can steer the nation,
Make Malaysia truly strong.
Come this election,
All citizens must arise,
Vote for righteousness,
Claim the country’s holy price.
Live not in regrets,
For the missed opportunity,
Of voting in truth
On one-nation reality.
