DEC 1 — I am truly dumbfounded; how did we reach this stage where wrongdoing, abuse of power is ignored and even celebrated.
What was the trigger point or epochal moment when corruption, abuse of public funds and plain padding up bank accounts stopped being an issue for Umno.
This was supposed to be Umno’s show of unity and transformation, an audition of sorts before the coming election. But instead we have seen a party from the top — Muhyiddin Yassin to the rank and file — celebrating the National Feedlot Corporation scandal.
Umno Youth says it is on reform mode but that it just shallow speak given the movement’s pledge to defend Messrs Shahrizat Jalil’s family’s scandalous use of public funds. Just to recap, her husband and children were given a softloan of RM250 million to develop the feedlot programme in Gemas.
But the Auditor-General reported that the project was a mess and digging by the Opposition showed that money was used to buy condominiums, umrah packages, a Mercedes Benz, etc. Basically, they treated my money and yours like their own.
They even paid some of Shahrizat’s expenses. This is as blatant abuse of public funds as any of us have witnessed.
But the fat cats of Umno insist that the project is a success and can’t understand what the fuss is about. In fact, Wanita Umno members were lauding Shahrizat for “coming out fighting”. Khairy Jamaluddin and his band of men also thinks its much ado about nothing.
Muhyiddin Yassin just says that there is nothing to the NFC scandal, all just hot air by the Opposition.
I understand why the DPM is defensive. He was the Agriculture Minister who promoted the NFC project. But their “celebration” of Shahrizat’s defiant stance and ignoring the blatant abuse of public funds is symptomatic of two ailments afflicting Umno.
Firstly, Umno views it as a sign of weakness to admit to mistakes and even to say sorry. So come what may, wrongdoing must be defended and the indefensible must be defended.
Secondly, so deep is the rot in Umno that its leaders actually believe that there is nothing wrong with what Shahrizat’s family did. After all, at one time or another, every one of them has used or treated public funds as their own.
They talk about reforms but can people without a moral compass talk about reforms?

///Defending an earlier speech which accused DAP of being anti-Malay and anti-Islam, Umno deputy president Muhyiddin Yassin denied it was racist and hit back at his critics, describing them as being “100 times more racist”.///–Malaysiakini
The difference is UMNO institutionalizes racism to the extent that it tells Malays that Malays would lose political power if UMNO is defeated as if winning the election is for bullying other races.

They have learned from Shahrizat how to make government funds their own wealth and they were only envious of the opportunity given to the Wanita Chief. To them such misuse of government funds should continue so that they can take turn to enjoy it. The 900 plus Wanita leaders would like to make Malay women proud by becoming rich with government projects. They know no wrong of the cowgate scandal and they certainly do not understand shame.

Only in UMNO, where they have no qualms to grant grace and favours to family members. Only in UMNO where the most dastardly and crooked wheel and deal in failure, plunder public coffers without remorse and always beyond reproach from rule of law having cornered the market for law enforcement. Also, having blurred the lines to rule it is quite proper for the highest seat in the Judiciary (Chief Justice) to share fraternity with lawyers, politicians, gangsters and criminals.
With Prosecutors Office in their grasph, the suits in UMNO fear no wrongdoing but what boggles, monies squandered through two generations represents resource denied to all and sundry in M’sia to include even those in the lowest denominator in UMNO, and yet many remain ignorant of the fact.
No matter, right thinking M’sians must strive to help even those ingrates who continue to spit venom for it is not their childrens folly that mum and dad fly the UMNO flag – all in name of being magnimonous.

Why should we be surprised that UMNO delegates applaud Shahrizat and make her out to be a heroine ? She did manage to procure a concession for RM 250 million, buy condos and land, go on holidays, go for umrah, set up a chain of restaurants in Malaysia and Singapore….the type of successful family that most people crave for. The delegates have been told that one day, their turn will come, and they can have access to hundreds of millions of public funds. All they need to do is to use their family members just in case things go wrong.

A party that celebrates wrongdoing
Rural folks must come to an awakening
To know what is actually happening
Come GE13 the day of reckoning
Vote in PR to be Bolehland’s saviour
To give Malaysia a better future
Malaysians will celebrate BN’s departure
No more celebration of wrongdoing ever

Less than one month into the probe, statement already ready. As expected they have found no evidence of CBT. The head also specifically mentioned that all important persons have been interview and statement taken. How efficient that can be. Any way we all know they have been the servant not for the people but for the political master. It is expected and we should not disappointed on the statement make at this crucial time.
CSL also say something like if we made mistake we will correct it. Yes they have saying thing like that since last GE. But from the way slave row up until can see her katek, definitely they are ready to admit their mistake, they will bull it over as they like.
Go news anyway, hope she will be pick again. It is easier to fight some one who has been wounded rather than someone who is fresh and clean anyway.
KSK also say something that now the boss party look less corrupt and moving with people. Will he is nothing than as he usual self to please his boss to keep his minister post.
