The scurrilous and vicious allegation against Penang chief minister Lim Guan Eng’s 16 year old son circulating on the internet requires a thorough police investigation

By Karpal Singh | DAP National Chairman and MP for Bukit Gelugor

The scurrilous and vicious allegation against Penang chief minister Lim Guan Eng’s 16 year old son circulating on the internet requires a through police investigation. The spreading of lies on the internet should be nibbed in the bud before it develops into a source of ready avenue to defame and destroy. The sophisticated advance in technology should be harnessed to public advantage and not destroy the very fabric of society modern times.

The point to address with all speed and expedition is the necessity for the police to spring into action in the wake of the completely wild allegation against the 16 year old without any regard for humanity. The trauma suffered by the chief minister’s son is beyond imagination having regard to the allegation made against him. Where there is a wrong, there must of necessity be a remedy. The bloggers responsible for the vile postings on their blogs must be brought to book to ensure they are not further emboldened to persist in a path of destruction.

I call upon the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, to personally intercede in the matter. As a father, the prime minister, no doubt, can imagine the agony suffered by the Penang chief minister. On a matter of such serious concerns, there should be no consideration of political affiliation.

In the meanwhile, I call upon the Inspector-General of Police to direct a police officer to lodge a report against the bloggers concerned with a view to action being taken against them for criminal defamation of the chief minister’s son. The culprits cannot, and should not, be allowed to get away. The public interest demands swift and effective action.

Tell you wot. Know how umno would get out of this? Let me guess. Umno is predictable. Very predictable. Here someone in umno will soon carry out a similar attack on one of their leader’s kid and then blame it on dap, like it was a tit for tat reaction by dap.

The good point is this: The more UMNO plays its dirty politics, the more the right-minded rakyat will hate them as is happening now. The rakyat cannot be fooled by the cheap and dirty tactics of UMNO. The rakyat has no respect for an immoral, godless, and lawless party like UMNO. To the rakyat, UMNO leaders are the lowest form of life. So UMNO, keep up with your dirty brand of politics because its adding more support to the opposition to the contrary of your evil plans.

Hahaha…investigate what ? The UMNO bloggers have all been given first class MAS tickets to London where they are expected to attend all the QPR games courtesy of MAS and AirAsia. Hang out there for a few months, and return when elections are announced.

I just hope the poor lady who was made to suffer insults based on this moronic scheme will sue those idiots so that none of them will ever have a chance to go to EU without being caught. this included KJ for jumping into such incident without a second thought. KJ, you have lost every iota of self respect! I thought you did have better average grey matter than your group. Indeed you too have stooped to their level, after being there all these years!

Make this an issue in the ceramah during the 13GE and umno baru will have a tough time explaining what it had done.

Corruption cara-umno has already been exported. E.g. submarine scandal and the ongoing timber issue in tasmania. Paying for whitewashing news too has been introduced to the west. E.g. Jib and taib recent boo-boo. See. Who says umno is not global enough. In fact umno is busy globalising its ways. Now umno is globalising its moronic ways – fabricating enemies and situations as well as stories and then go into a frenzy public orgy over those fabrications. Its an art people of the world. Do learn it coz it kinda makes you look sexy.

In some countries Najib would be arrested & impeached for treason…

Malaysian PM Najib’s shelter of wildly & uncontrollably corrupt Taib Mahmud is collusion, duplicity & deception of his people. A betrayal of trust placed in a PM. This is tantamount to Treason – violating one’s allegiance to one’s country. In some countries he would be arrested and impeached.

Abolish MACC and start a new Commission chaired jointly by BN & Opposition PR/PKR – that’s democracy!

UMNO & BN, time to do soul-searching, repent before it is too late. The same warning goes to all the Umno and Taib cronies; Mahathir, included. Look at Gaddafi this week, and those before him. Retribution always comes around.
