QUOTE: "And yet we seem to have a Government that see it itself to be under threat."

Oh yes, and they have very valid reasons to feel that. The government is threatened by its own incompetency and excesses, and a growing threat from Pakatan. The series of by-election failures is testimony enough that BN may have to pack its bag in the next general elections and move over to the Opposition chairs in Parliament.

Problem is law is not been properly by legislators as time goes by, to make things worst it is controlled and influenced by politician, rich, tycoon, datuk.

These old time cronies are getting fatter and greedier, they amassed billions from white elephant projects such as PKFZ, Petronas, and Proton.

Since the law is drafted in such a way to protect them, the master is always left unpunished and released as a free man.

Malaysians are selfish the reason is they have too many to worry, the children education, the future, the saving and the family wellfare.

vsp ... its not an obsession. Its about power. PM needs to show he is so so capable, hence the Perak debacle. He was too hasty in Perak so that he can seal his authority for the UMNO gathering.

Same here, he will get back all the lost states so no one will dare to challenge him. One crazy objective ... one that will cause him to do many crazy things ... one that can be his downfall too.

UMNO is using all tricks in its arsenal to weaken the Pakatan. Between now and the next General Election, this is a dangerous period. Pakatan must be watchful and not to shoot themselves in the foot again. Najib is using his level best to topple the Pakatan state governments and to grab power and then using all the apparatus of the state to consolidate. Once he has done this and regain his 2/3 majority in Parliament he will swiftly change a number of critical legislation in the Constitution to entrench the position of the Barisan National. This I feel is his overriding obsession now before the next election comes. He will use a lot of charm and money to attain this objective.

Beware Pakatan, let this be a warning to you not to take things for granted. You are dealing with an evil and dangerous government.

"...but what will Tunku, Tun Razak and Tun Hussein Onn think of what is now happening to their country, our country?"

I don't know about Tun Razak... I think he is a racist but as for Tunku, he always lamented that he lived too long when he saw the way Mahathir was running the country. Death, it seems, was a better alternative to him. Hussein Onn was another one who also felt saddened to see the way Mahathir was running the country. Only Mahathir thought himself perfect. I wonder where God will send him to when Mahathir eventually meet Him. I bet it won't be a nice place.

Umno-led BN is not true in making some minor changes. BN changes for power to rule , take bribes and enriching itself.

If BN is given a bigger mandate to rule in the next general election, it will return to its old self and reveal its true colours. Federal Constitution will be amended to serve its political purposed.

Pakatan Rakyat is different, PR commits to what it has promised, PR has been fighting for what it has been fighting for. PR is serious in helping the poor, the robbed,to make Malaysia a better country which is free from graft and just.

"…and there are enough good man left who will not do nothing and allow evil to triumph."

Hence, the need for PR to buck up and stop the squabbles whether its personality, religious or political differences. Many call what Wee did as TRANSPARENCY, the right to disagree etc. In reality, what people like Wee have done is to crush the dream of 1Nation ... 1People ... United.

"All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing."
Actually, to triumph over evil, BN MPs and state assemblymen just need to do nothing, sweet nothing
They just have to kick the bucket and they will do the rakyat a great, great favor
In Perak right now, just two or three BN state assemblymen need to do sweet nothing - pop, vamoose, all good men will cheer
Keep praying, the power of mass prayers

They are not a government of the people, for the people and by the people. They are just a bunch of thieves and murderers. Real government don't kill their own citizens and real government don't go and steal from the people. Only thieves and murderers do. Just look at those umno youth and they look mean and are like thugs. In fact, they are just thugs!

Well Hussein,I think,Tungku,Tun Razak and Tun Hussein Onn are watching and crying, especially Tun Razak, watching his own beloved son NR deliberately leading Umno/Bn to destroying and tearing and burning the whole country, our country to the ground. Yeah,Hussein,I agreed when you said"people seem to be on the brink of despair, abandoning any hope for a sense of justice, decency and hope in their daily life ". yeah this feeling will remain as long as Umno/Bn is in power. But once this bad regime is down and out,the people would have a new hope to see, true democracy, freedom, justice, decency and a positive aspiration in their daily life. You can count on this,Hussein.

///10. Finally the case would be heard. If you win you stand to gain 100 million and the critic cannot bring up the matter anymore because you are now innocent.

11. But if you lose, then appeal to a higher court. The case remains sub-judice and the issue can't be brought up.///-- Mahathir

When one sue for compensation for libel and slander, the amount of compensation should be based on the damage to the aggrieve party. For a minister, the damage could be based on a percentage of the earning by the minister in his official earning capacity. Taking Samy Vellu’s as example, his earning as minister at the salary of 30,000 a month and over 30 years, amounts to RM 10.8 million. A Minister has no basis to sue for RM 100 million. Yet in Malaysia, RM 100 million might be the lower bound of what ministers are worth, as since Mahathir’s days they have Midas touch.

There are different perceptions between the governed and the governor, the powers-that-be in Bolehland. The people believe that those elected to power in a democratic process have the responsibility to ensure that the democratic system of rule of law should be maintained, and that the government is responsible for the well beings of the population. The powers-that-be considered themselves CEOs of the modern corporations, though owned by the citizens, the profits ought to accrue only to them. As far as they are concerned, the corporations can fail, they are free to formed new corporations, such as migrating to a better place to enjoy their wealth.

The future of Bolehland lies in the thought of the CEOs. After Mamak Mahathirs has changed this place from a nation to a corporation, we are at the mercy of the CEOs. To divert attention from the lucrative practices, racial issues have been most effectively utilized, and conveniently too, by race-based political entities. It might be true that the people have come close to realizing the evils of racial politics as demonstrated in the recent general elections; that might be why Mahathir is more active in fanning racial sentiments in the Blog now.

A government of the people is impossible in the present system and present set up.
The agitation has been going on since 1997/8 and then exacebated by 8th March 2008 , and now if ever PR come to power by whatever means in a sort of hung Government because of Sabah and Sarawak factors, the nation would be in limbo. Strive would occur as Bn is stil loaded with money that they can buy rottenness.

so we need an interim govt which I call Interim Government for Good Governance or IGGG as a period of sort of reconciliation, reconstruction in the context of democracy legalistically and naturally.

The third force is good for the nation when two parties fight meaningless .

"…and there are enough good man left who will not do nothing and allow evil to triumph."

Who are the good man who can make a difference? I think they are MPs in BN. All they need to do is to act on their conscience and do what they ought to do for the nation's sake?
That is to withdraw from the BN and link up with the Opposition.
They can save this country from lots of misery and misfortune.
UMNO, PDRM, MACC, AG and the Judiciary are all set to destroy the nation to save their skin. They care a damn about this country.
