UMNO has in its possession not one but to trump cards,
one is the MALAY/BUMIputra trumpcard and other being the ISLAM trumpcard.
It conveniently uses one or the other card that fits the occasion in other to win the support of the majority Malays. They have but only been used to create fear..a potent mix of fear and anger at its best.
Is UMNO really fighting for the rights of Malays or Islam? Any right thinking sensible Malaysian would know the answer.

These trumpcards are used to gain money and power. They don’t care about their own race and religion let alone the race and religion of others.
Using religion and race issues to make more money! That’s what they are doing.
Do ponder on the following:
1.How much do you think each cabinet ministers net worth is?
2.How many companies does the PM own, under his name???
3.How much do you think the DPM is worth?
4.How much do you think the Chief Minister of Sarawak is worth?
Most of these ministers have been in their posts long enough!

everyone is entitled to JUDGEMENT at COURTS. tell me which country don’t have courts. ISA has been wrongly used here. Its main objective was to catch COMMUNISTS & NOT MALAYSIA – an extra info from me for the idiots who keep quiet or sokong ISA!!! there are many laws that can be enforced if a person is a suspect but WILL HAVE BE CHARGED IN COURTS and the suspect BE GIVEN A CHANCE TO DEFEND !!

are the police of today acting like gestapo?? i surely hope not because i believe the majority of the police are STILL GOOD POLICEMEN !! We the rakyat need these POLICEMEN TO COME OUT TO PROTECT OUR CIVIL RIGHTS PLEASE!!! C’mon. Is our PDRM that dumb not to know what is truly going on or they are tied to their masters – BN? Then our PDRM is a laughing stock to the world. PDRM should uphold its credibility & integrity for the nation & rakyat, to serve the rakyat – not BN. PDRM moral we can see is at its all time low. There’s nothing proud to be in PDRM today. Joining PDRM is as good as being BN member. It’s automatic, if not by force. Imagine when PDRM officers go to vote, the superior officer will be standing in front of them to make sure they cross the right party symbol. In other words, it’s like losing one’s soul to the devil.

The perception of people joining PDRM is because of easy entry & that’s where to get extra income. Thus, how can PDRM blame the public perception that corruption is high in PDRM? I don’t support ISA as it is inhumane. Even terrorist can be trialed properly in court. Otherwise, why have rule of Law & lawyers for. Datuk Zaid Ibrahim job is just to fill a vacant seat, not a responsibility. We may as well close down all the courts, abolish legal firms, etc.

Whatever happened to the ‘study tour’ to HK ICAC? Perhaps ICAC is a shopping mall in HK?

The police should also have told them that YAB Teresa will be making a legal-suit if both Datuk Botox & Utusan Melayu do not retract their allegations. What is BN trying to achieve here? 1. racial/religious issues are played up to dangerous level to unite the malays by the right wing elements in Umno.

2. Opposition politicians are made out to be the culprits for stoking the above.

Subsequently opposition politicians are arrested to reinforce above points 1 and 2. Moderate malays dare not stand up to oppose the right wingers for the fear of being accused as traitors to their race and religion and lost the power struggle. This kind of scenario has happened twice and the winners were seen as heroes to the malays; the opposition politicians and moderate malays were cowed and they get to dominate Umno and ruled the country.

Are we seeing the same thing being played out again in 2008? We can argue that the country in 2008 is very different from 40 or 20 years ago but that wont stop them from trying to apply the same strategies to gain power again. Dont fall for the same trap again by butting heads with them.Use reasons and a soft approach to fight them.

Not emergency rule, but I think it was intended to create racial unrest. Obviously, neither Syed Hamid nor Badawi ordered the arrests. I can smell somebody’s evil hand in this. Somebody who should be enjoying his retirement but can’t stop meddling. Somebody who wants more than anything else for Badawi to step down.

Someone who is ruthless enough to treat racial strife as collateral damage to achieve his ends. Some who has done it before in 1969 to force TAR to resign.

This fellow could be in league with botox face and behind Ahmad Ismail’s extraordinary bravery in escalating racial tension.
