Tulip Crescent, “looney” is but a word used by desperate people to force their point-of-view across. The discerning readership of this thread understands well the ground realities and nothing is a black and white as you would like to wish it to be.

The Indians and the Chinese may have “swung”; but it is the Malays who can either make or break the status quo of M’sian politics. Without Malay unity there can never be national unity. You may feel free to read my comments on the relevant threads in the past for an in-depth analysis.

Listen to the ground. The Indians and the Chinese have swung. They are waiting for the Malay ground to really swing.

The Maly ground did swing on March 8, 2008, but it was not as great as the Indian and Chinese ground.

In the 2000 election, the Malay decried both for not swinging. Now that they have swung, I am sure my Malay brothers will know what to do.

Lying is part of Anwar’s leadership qualities. He said he was anti money politics when in fact he was the leader of money politics during the UMNO Deputy President elections in 1993. What has changed since?

During his leadership of the ABIM movement, he used Islamic principles as his strong fundamentals to achieve his political ambitions. However, after he joined UMNO, all those principles and Islamic struggles were actually pretences and fake.

Corruption was at its highest during Anwar’s tenure as the Finance Minister. So much so that people call Anwar the ‘Father of Corruption’.

When Anwar was the leader of ABIM and a student, he loudly despised and belittled UMNO and its leaders but not long after that he praised those that he despised. He is a “leader” with no vision.

He is simply not worthy to be a leader and nor is he able to bring the country together under acceptable principles.

I disagree what you said.
To face the people of PP is to listen to the ground. If BN is not happy, they can even call for a fresh national election and i am sure PR will be most willing to “listen to the ground” again. So what is the problem. PKR has wide support of all races in the country including the Malays.

EC deliberately fixed voting on the 26thAug.o8, a Tuesday. They are hoping that the voters turn out will be low, thus possibly creating a chance for BN GOON. Must be another idea given by the Kera Jantan to the EC.

This might be true that the whole thing is being chereographed but you forgot you need a master ‘maestro’ to get the act together for it to materialise.
Even that Mamak failed what more Bodohwi that simpleton whose special skill is badawiing whatever he does!
However,in a sense we can say we are lucky to have him as PM at this point in time for it will mean the dismantling of the UMNO power structure at an earlier date than would have been the case if some other guy is there.

To: limkamput, the present under-current against Anwar is very strong esp among the malays unless PKR takes over the entire govern then it’s a different story. Until then he needs to win back the malay votes etc. An old orang asli proverb says: Listen to the ground and you shall get the answers.

As I said, and as Jeffry QC seems to also agree, though not in such terms, the whole thing is being chereographed.

As of now, they are sticking to the script, although in a way where there seems to be no one in control.
