Balasubramaniam’s 2 contradictory SDs – the immediate concern

(Speech at the DAP Kuching Solidarity Dinner in Kuching on Saturday, 5th July 2008 at 9 pm)

In the past 36 hours, the country has been convulsed by the two contradictory statutory declarations by private investigator P. Balasubramiam over the linking of Deputy Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Razak with the murdered Mongolian national Altantuya Shaariibuu.

A great debate has been going on since Balasubramaniam’s second SD yesterday contradicting his first SD made public on Thursday with such devastating effect as to whether the private investigator had committed the crime of perjury, liable under the Penal Code to an offence which carries a maximum of seven years’ jail.

I think this question is secondary. My immediate concern of the two contradictory SDs by Balasubramiam is not whether he had committed a criminal offence, but his personal safety and a new low in public confidence in the police and justice systems.

After the March 8 “political tsunami”, resulting in the unprecedented Barisan Nasional loss of two-thirds parliamentary majority, the Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi assured Malaysians that he had finally heard their voices in the general election verdict and would seriously carry out long-delayed reforms in the institutions of government, especially in the three areas of judicial, police and anti-corruption reforms.

Apart from a lot of “hot air” however little has been achieved in the past four months, apart from ex-gratia payment to six judges who were victims of the 1988 judicial crisis and scandal – when the victims of the judicial darkness of the past two decades were not just the six judges but an entire generation of Malaysians who were denied their fundamental and constitutional right to independent and impartial justice.

This is why I had asked in Parliament what is the actual amount of the ex gratia payment paid to the six judges as Malaysians have the right to know as the money come from the public coffers. Somebody said the ex gratia payment is RM1.5 million each. I hope to get the answer during the Ministerial winding-up in the debate on the Ninth Malaysia Plan Mid-Term Review in Parliament next week.

With little to show in judicial, police and anti-corruption reforms, Balasubramaniam’s two contradictory SDs have served to highlight the institutional rot in our country plunging public confidence in the justice and police systems to a new nadir.

Balasubramaniam had said in his SD2 that he had made his SD1 under duress. In his SD1, he had alleged that he had signed his police statement in November 2006 under duress although the police had omitted all his information linking Najib to Altantuya because he had been in the police lock-up for seven days and just wanted to go home.

This was what Balasubramaniam said in his press conference on Thursday when releasing his SD1:

“If you have experienced being in a lock-up, definitely you will sign the statement. I have three children (to think about).

”I was arrested under (Section) 302 (for murder). What’s the reason? In the first place there was no reason for the police to put me in the lock-up. They can call me anytime to take a statement. I was the private investigator for Razak.”

Balasubramaniam was the very picture of being very relaxed and comfortable in his Thursday media conference when releasing his SD1, while he looked very strained and under great pressure in his SD2 press conference, where he did not say a single word.

It is not only Balasubramaniam who is under great test with his two contradictory SDs, but public confidence in the police and justice systems.

    Well said Uncle Lim.
Although there my still be fools who believe what the government spews out, I believe that the vast majority of Malaysians have woken up to what is going on in this country.
So, the more they try to fool the public, the more stupid they’ll look.
Keep up the good work Uncle.

The Police and the AG are a law unto themselves, so who is going to investigate them ? We all know what is going on, but we are simply helpless to prevent it – and the only option is to change the federal government. No ifs and buts – changing the federal government is the only means of getting out of this eternal black hole.

We all know who is behind this. Definitely the horny monkey that wants it to be covered up. Don’t be mistaken that silly monkey is my neighbour’s pet. Don’t overjudge if you are not guilty. Hell is always closed to them who do lots of bad things.

Are we sure the one who appeared the second day was Bala? He looked like Bala, sounds like Bala.

Now Bala disappeared. I am not sure if he was sent by the police to meet the Mongolian woman through the explosive. He must be under protection but who can tell where he is now? May be he is preparing for the third SD.

The ACA is investigating IGP and AG. Would we expect anything coming out from there? It will be very questionable.

The IGP, AG, DPM and PM should all quit

Simply put, this is between Anwar and Najib. They have no business dragging the whole populace into their sexual intrigues or preferences. The whole world must be laughing at us right now. While nobody believes a single word that Najib says these days, Anwar is not a saint either. For a “Prime Minister-in-waiting”, how careless and naïve can you get by having a mole planted from the other side to get so close to you? Enough said. We don’t care about you two. What we care about is the economy, stupid!

Even if Bala is offered 10m ringgits by Najib & the gang and asked to migrate to another country for a time being or for good, it’s only peanut.

You have asked the required question!
    But what will we hear?
    The sound of silence!!
When the IGP and AG , who have been accused of fabricating evidence are still running the show we can be sure no change of any substance can come about.

Immediately after Bala’s release of his 1st SD, what it has revealed to the public is more about the dark side of PKR than Najib’s voyeuristic acts as reported in the SD. I would like to question PKR as to why Bala was not given any form of protection and/or advice especially after such an explosive revelation of such magnitude. Even Anwar himself had to seek refuge at the Turkish Embassy, possibly to force a personal safety guarantee out of Pak Lah before releasing the SD at his PC. Between the day Bala signed the SD and the PC by Anwar, they had 2 long days to plan for Bala’s safe escape route (similar to a witness protection plan), including getting the best lawyers to be on standby should Bala be called up by the police. Instead Bala was left alone and being dropped off by his (was it lawyer) straight into the lion’s den like a sacrificial lamb. Now Bala and his entire family is missing. Aren’t we talking about a possible government in waiting here. Can we honestly believe that this blatant irresponsible act of not granting Bala any protection after all that he has sacrificed for, wouldn’t happen to us Rakyat should this government wannabe succeed into power one day. I can be a very strong supporter of PR, but i have just seen all the writings on the wall, and that scares the sh*t out of me.

Wonder why Bala was wearing a cap at SD2 press conference?

I suspect his head could be all bruised.
Try compare the pictures between SD1 and SD2, at SD2 Bala face was blacken and swollen.

Which SD did he under duress?
    A picture tells thousand words.

  11. #11 by Jeffrey on Sunday, 6 July 2008 - 9:19 am

When P Balasubramaniam made the explosive SD1 only to make an equally explosive SD2 in retraction of it within 24 hours and then disappear with family,it does, in bystanders’ minds, confirm suspicions of many that SD2 was made under duress rather than SD1, which indirectly of course suggests the (1) voluntariness in making SD1 and (2) suspicions of coercion/threat being applied by someone when he was in the Brickfields police station. All these suggest making him retract SD1 by SD2 is counter productive as it tends to reaffirm in the minds of many the likelihood of some truth in allegations in SD1.

I agree that only 1 of the 2 SDs is true but questions raised by Karpal Singh and some lawyers on whether he has committed an offence of perjury, liable under the Penal Code in respect of that one that was untrue is not only ‘secondary’ but irrelevant in context of the larger picture.

We need P Balasubramaniam to clarify what exactly happened. He is in a predicament with personal safety at stake and the last thing the lawyers should do is to talk about him committing an offence of perjury. For if these lawyers believe in the truth of SD1 then they must believe his retraction in SD2 was made under duress, and duress in a complete defence against any offence including perjury that he might have committed in respect of SD2!

I also agree with what Kit said that all these developments do not help in public confidence in the police and justice systems in context of political neutrality.

Concerns about P Balasubramaniam’s safety are legitimate because those who are behind his retraction in SD2 are concerned that he would not make a SD3 to retract SD2!

Hoever on the balance of probailities, he and his family are more likely to have gone into hiding while damage control and other neccessary actions are launched by ‘interested parties’ to control or reverse damage done by him so far.

His nephew, Kumaresan, refuted suggestions that Balasubramaniam had gone into hiding. If not, what other scenarios?

If he were targetted for disposal in the ‘Altantuya Shaariibuu sense’ to silence the possibility of his further disclosure by SD3, it ought not to be escalated to involve his wife and their three children as well! It does not serve interest of perpetrators to escalate the scandal of one murder to four!

It is unthinkable otherwise. Even in a totalitarian state, this is not done. Only Sicilian MAFIA does that!

However it is curious why Kumaresan chose to lodge a police report about Balasubramiam gone missing in the very police station coming out from which Balasubramaniam had gone disappearing with his family! I mean there are so many other police stations with which the report could be lodged.

If there is any doubt as to which SD was made under duress, Bala’s disappearance has proved beyond a shadow of doubt. Clearly a man who has been “freed from duress” will not disappear like that.

Many people have castigated his lawyer Sidhu for leaving him at the police station alone. (Bala was obviously tricked by a friendly phone call). Sidhu has replied, “But he was at the police station. How much safer can you get?”

Sidhu is perfectly reasonable. He did not drop him off at a den of crooks. But to many Malaysians, he may well have done that.

Looks like the police has a MAJOR image re-building to do!

According to the PM, DPM, AG, IGP and all the apparatchiks down, Malaysians are all equal before the laws of the country.
But all their actions and deeds do NOT support their above contention. None is ever upfront as they often put out contradictory statements after statements.
In my younger days, I found it most amusing when judges wear wigs, regardless of gender. TDM must have also thought the same, hence he had them all neutered so that all doubts are removed ie how many male judges have any balls left?
Unless the rule of law is been enforced without any fear or prejudice, there is no way Malaysia can call itself ruled by democratic means. Its still jungle law out there!

Trust Sdr. Lim to focus on the issue despite all the noise out there. Its why I want to talk about all these talk of ‘politics distracting us from the issues’ that is going around including some bloggers.

Now is not the time to give up on politics no matter how crazy it looks.

Firstly, we have to ask ourselves why there is these craziness in the first place? If Badawi had delivered on reform in 2004 as he promised, it would not have come to this. We don’t have a working judicial system, ACA, AG and police to quickly deal with the issue quickly and move on.

Secondly, what is so bad about these craziness? There are a lot more and worst scandals in other developed countries including in Japan, Korea and it does not distract them from doing their work.

Thirdly, if people believe that this govt can deal with the really tough issues of rising global inflation and income disparity, they are fed too long on NEP and subsidies. Take the shift in 9MP with more spending on corridors, Sarawak and Sabah etc – it makes little difference to prices or income of poor AND mostly about taking care of BN’s politics machining. Have people so quickly forgot the miserable failure of revamping the public transport again and again? Does anyone really believe what they do now even come close to dealing with the challenge? Not by a mile.

So let the politics continue and Malaysian must look at it as a challenge to themselves to focus on the issue – Why don’t we have institutions and mechanism to have dealt with these issues quickly and avoid the rot it has become.

Anwar’s nemesis is jumping with joy; and Anwar is pulling his hair off! Soon there would be nothing left to pull. At least he could negotiate for a discount with his barber!

RPK has come out with an outlandish theory that it was all a ploy orchestrated by none other than Abdullah to keep his adversaries busy, involved and distracted as he strengthens his hand. That’s vintage RPK. Soon even those Special Branch boys would have lost track of what the guy is alleging and on whose side he is.

The old man as usual is having his share of the shindig enjoying watching his two adversaries destroy each other.

ACA investigating IGP and AG is only for show. verdict is obviously no evidence. bala is obviously under polis protection so that he cannot retract SD2 until najis is all clear. IGP could be with or without the instruction of najis behind this retraction. he has a lot to lose as well. asking a crook like IGP to investigate a crook like IGP. laughing stock.

when Najib was accused of murder of Altantuya, he doesnt want to sue Balasubramaniam for tarnishing his image…..

What we suffered now is exactly as in united States in the Mid 60′s. With the great depresion & in stability of political scandals plus lots of huha going on. American paid their price getting thru it with lots of pain, but Malaysian paying the price for current situations are rather beyond the affordable price tag.
Sooner or later, we will face with lots of “real” un-employment & high taxes are being slap & i don’t think we can take this after shock. The front page of The Sunday Star 6th July talks about Malaysians being ‘fed up’ of allegations and counter allegations arising out of poltical bickering between Anwar and Najib; acording to Marina Mahathir, “there are more important things in life like how someone is going to feed his family; that Ahiruddin Atan (Rocky) is taking 48 hour break from blogging anything on Altantuya and sodomy issues.

I hope YB will not follow suit.

They have all missed the issues. Altantuya and sodomy issues go to the heart and root of integrity and moral legitimacy of Malaysian political leadership now or in the future.

No doubt how someone is going to feed his family is alawys an important issue but to say that Malaysians are or ought to be more interested in bread and butter issues than moral legitimacy of Malaysian political leadership and its corollary – the professionalim and political neutrality of our police and justice systems – is to insult the collective inmtelligence of Malaysians and to reduce us to the level of sheep interested only in looking for where the patch of pasture is for grazing!

Analysis – Sodomy Allegation and SDs; Who the real conspirators are? The invincible and power 3rd party behind all this?

Let’s track the issue and see if we can detect who the real conspirators are likely to be.
Anwar’s people accuse Najib as being the conspirator in the sodomy allegation, and vice versa i.e. Anwar’s people meanwhile being accused of masterminding the statutory declarations (SD) implicating Najib.
But is there a possibility that there is an invisible yet powerful third party who is conspiring to ignite a war between Anwar and Najib?
    Let’s find out.
    1) It would be extremely foolish for Najib to meet Saiful at the comfort of Najib’s residence barely a few days before Saiful’s police report was leaked to the media, if Najib is really part of the conspiracy to smear Anwar. And I don’t think Najib is that foolish. It looks more as though Najib is being set-up by a third party.
    2) Why would Saiful would want to meet Najib first before lodging a police report? Who suggested to Saiful to meet Najib and who facilitated his meeting with Najib? The same third party?
    3) How come it wasn’t the police but Anwar that leaked Saiful’s police report to the media? Who gave such info to Anwar? The same third party?
    4) A photo of Saiful and Najib’s aide, and photos of Saiful with 3 other Ministers appeared on the internet in the middle of the night i.e. within hours of Anwar’s press conference. Is it the same third party, who has a ‘file’ on Saiful who sent such photos to Anwar’s camp in order to link Najib to the accusation?
    5) Anwar claimed to have recently obtained some evidence linking the IGP and AG to some wrongdoings. Again, the same third party sent that dossier to Anwar?
    6) Balasundram claimed that he made the 1st SD under duress. Is it the same third party that forced Bala to make that 1st SD?
    7) Anwar claims the DPM’s office is plotting to assassinate him. Who feed him such ridiculous info? The same third party again?
[Balasubramaniam's retraction statutory declaration was affirmed before commissioner of oaths Zainal Abidin Muhayat, bearing an address that has been traced to Zul Rafique & Partners - a pro-establishment law firm owned by Zulkifly Rafique who is Federal Territories minister Zulhasnan Rafique's brother. Raja Petra has many articles on this legal firm]

An invisible and powerful third party behind all the above?
    Think about it.
Now, assuming if Anwar’s sexual tendencies is true as alleged (even 10 judges agreed with that. See
    1) Dr M: Court ruling doesn’t mean Anwar didn’t do it

    2) “If we count, we will find that all the 10 judges who heard the case of Anwar sodomising Azizan (Abu Bakar, his former family driver) agreed that Anwar committed sodomy, although the two (judges) used technical reasons to not find him guilty,” he said in his blog Che Det.

    i) Is it a possibility that Saiful (being a jambu..) is being ‘planted’ in Anwar’s office as a way to ‘induce and trap’ Anwar (even without Saiful realising he is being used) by the same third party? (Well, one way is to find out from Saiful who suggested to him and facilitated his entry into Anwar’s office).
    2) Is there a possibility that there sodomy case did happen as alleged (as it was a trap laid by the third party using Saiful even without the latter’s knowledge), and its exposure is however being manipulated to link to Najib (again, by the same third party)? So that a war will ignite between Anwar and Najib?
No doubt such exposure at the end of the day is putting the Government in a bad light, thanks to Anwar’s powerful spin and propaganda machine. No doubt Paklah as the head of the Govt is the one affected since confidence in his Govt is being eroded by claims of conspiracy and link to a murder case etc.
But such bad publicity for the Govt has no immediate and tangible impact at all since the next general election is 4-5 years away!
Having said that, however, if we were to compare between Paklah, Najib and Tun Dr. M, the impact of such allegations (both alleged sodomy and SD linking to Altantuya’s murder) have varying effect on the three of them, with Paklah being the least affected!
    Why?
The mainstream media is having a full day recapping the recent sodomy allegation to the 1998 sodomy charge against Anwar; implying that a political conspiracy was hatched by the previous Administration at that time, . thus putting Tun in a bad light. Even the IGP and AG are now accused by Anwar to be part of the conspirators back then.
At the same time, the Statutory Declarations (By Bala and RPK) gave bad publicity to Najib.
Despite all these, notice that Anwar (through Wan Azizah) actually met Paklah to seek help and assurance from him. So in essence, Paklah personally is not affected (in the court of public opinion) at all by those allegations. But Najib and Tun, yes.
Assuming that there is indeed an invisible and powerful third party which plotted and hatched the conspiracies to pit the two camps (Anwar’s and Najib’s) with each other, what is their main motive then?
Well, one can’t help but notice that the ONLY major political event coming up is the UMNO elections due at the end of the year!
With UMNO’s divisions in at least four states, UMNO’s Management Committee (Najib, Muhyiddin, Rafidah, Hishamuddin and Noraini) and even the majority of Supreme Council members putting strong pressure on Paklah to step down, Paklah’s position looks increasingly untenable. Judging from the mood on the ground, there are even talks that some forces are hatching that Paklah won’t get enough nominations from UMNO divisions to even qualify to run as President!
Since Najib has indicated that he hasn’t decided whether to contest the presidency (thus implying that he is open to being nominated as President), the real battle taking place now is actually on the ground in UMNO’s over 200 division. And not in the media!
    The only way (that the conspirators think?) for Paklah to survive politically is to ensure that ‘dirt’ sticks on his successor hoping that either one of these two things may happen;
    1) Najib may succumb due to the pressure and declare publicly (or even privately to the Divisions) that he will not accept nominations to the post of President (Who knows maybe the ‘attacks’ on him may stop after that?)
    2) Even if he does not do that and willing to be nominated instead, the bad publicity from those allegations (they hope) may deter UMNO Divisions from nominating him as President since he is tainted.
    Makes sense?
Now, isn’t it clear from the analysis above that the third party (if it exists) is not only pitting Anwar against Najib, but is also ‘screwing’ both of them as well?
Isn’t it clear that Tun Dr. M’s name is also being dragged in the mud as well from the sodomy allegations? (kiling two birds wil one stone, eh?)
Isn’t it clear that the clear winner in both cases is actually Paklah? Mere coincidence?
Now the question is – At the end of the day, will we actually get to know the truth what happened in both cases (sodomy allegation against Anwar & Altantuya murder case)?
Or a round of deception for political expediency will take place, yet again?

  33. #33 by 9to5 on Sunday, 6 July 2008 - 11:49 am

Which SD is the truth? Even a kid would be able to tell you which one is the truth:

Who is in a position to apply duress – Anwar and his merry, ragtag PR gang who don’t even have the power to hold rally, control over toll concessionaires and provide free water to Selangor residents or the DPM who has the whole might of military, PDRM, AG, Ex-PM and the judiciary behind him? Answer – you know who.

Who has the most to lose – Anwar with the PM post still in a distance or the DPM who already has the PM post in hand and his cahoots, the IGP and AG losing their jobs? Answer – you know who and his cahoots.

Who has the most monetary resources to pay for inducements – one who has to seek donations or one who has no qualms in wasting billions of $ of taxpayers’ money? You figure.

Which offence is the most grave – murder by using C4 to blow to bits or sodomy (offenses per se; not implying AI is involved) ? You figure.

Which time did Bala has the most confidence and relaxed – At the PKR press conference where he was jovially and freely answering questions or at the hastily organised press conference where only Bernama attended, Bala didn’t take any questions and since then he had been missing with his whole family? Which time Bala’s face didn’t look as if he had seen a ghost? Which SD was done not after visit to the police station? Answer – First SD.

Which duration of preparation of the SD where Bala has ample time to change it – First SD prepared over several months or the Second SD where it was made in less than 6 hours in the clandestine hours past midnight?

The person most people ignored and overlooked is ASP Tonny Longan. Americk Singh Sidhu said that Balasubramaniam had been speaking to Tonny over the telephone. Tonny is the common link in the disappearance of Bala as well as involved in the Altantuya court case as prosecution witness where both times were seen protecting the powers to be. Who is Tonny working for? Follow the trail of Tonny and the truth will be there.

It is very real that Bala could be intimidated or man-handled. Just look at his composure and mannerism before and after his first SD. He is seen wearing a base ball cap to the second formal press conference. So far have you seen anyone so casually and shabbily dressed for press conference which will be televised on national TV? Or is he hiding marks of being man-handled on his head? He looks frighten and forlorn in the second SD. He and his family even left his house in a rush without informing his relative to take care of his house, car and feed his 2 dogs?

    Something is amiss!

If 1 of the SDs was made under duress, it can only be SD2, especially after he gone into Police Station and dont know what happen.

Bala may be committing perjury, what police who made him retract the SD1?

…//The story of calling a deer a horse speaks much about the sycophancy of the Qin Court. What about us? Do we not have the same sycophants singing every time the great leader utters something? Black can be white, deer can be a horse as long as a person is in the good books of the leader.//… Malaylsiakini – Dr Hsu Dar Ren Jul 4,

The verdict of the court of public opinion is obvious that SD2 was made under duress rather than SD1.

What about our judiciary? Sad to say majority of the judges will be calling a deer a horse.

What about MPs and ministers from UMNO, MCA, MIC and Gerakan an other component parties of BN? Sad and safe to say every one will publicly call a deer a horse.

Filing a false SD is an offence so Bala commited perjury with 2 SDs, one of which must be false.

The offence was committed by filing the second SD. Tell me what lawyer will advise his client to go ahead and commit an offence?

If he was under duress on the first SD, he must specify the nature and extent of the duress as lawyers have pointed out. And it must be a very serious one which threatens life and limb.

The second lawyer should be investigated by the bar council for abetting or inducing his client (if ever he was even appointed) to commit an offence. The fact that he is from a pro-establishment law firm is suspicious.

There’s a lot of dirt in politics now, but my feeling is that all the dirt is coming from the establishment’s side.

    Dear Malaysians and all Readers,

Now Malaysians no longer knew what to believe, who to trust, who to listen and we were “tired of reading about the political sandiwaras, dramas, especially online and media news”. Well, who is lying and cheating the public with all such allegations among all political parties such as Anwar sodomy case, Najib SDs, Altantuya murder case, Pak Lah step down motion, Dr M’s judiciary issues, Lingam tape, Ketuanan Melayu agenda, Gerakan closed shop, MIC -Indian snake and UMNO corrupt money and greedy stooges contesting in the party general election…etc.

Malaysians don’t know what to believe any more. Everyone politician is accusing the other. Malaysians feel that things have been blown out of proportion and the rakyat’s welfare is forgotten.

Malaysians from all walks of life are suffering daily. This is because of the five major reasons happened in Malaysia:

    (a) Dr M made a worst blunder stupid political decision in his entire 22 years ruling the nation was to appoint a kurang bijak sleepy successor who destroy his dream party, losing the 12th GE and getting DR M sacked voluntray from UMNO with a big SHAME.

    (b) Political tsunami wave in 12th GE changed the political scenarios in Malaysia and all dirty shit have surfaced out from past legacy of wrongdoings from UMNO & BN croonies to wake up Malaysians today.

    (c) The Pakatan Rakyat formation and YAB DSAI supermacy to fight and defend the rights of Ketuanan Rakyat inflicted UMNO called for Ketuanan Melayu, played racist cards again and naming Indian as a Snake and called Chinese are migrants. The weaknesses of PM stands on his own feet failed and he required a big tongkat ali supports from 4th floor morons/goonies and little napoleans had caused him more troubles and his downfall soon.

    (d) Retailation of cancelling mega projects in Penang and Perak. Revaluation of other all dream corridors projects in Pakatan Rakyat states by the loser BN govt are causing more harm and damages to the economy and financial well being of the nation. The devaluation of ringgit against forex exchange, the selldown of shares in Bursa Malaysia and the rising prices in inflated economy are proofs to show BN leaders esp PM & Co are incompentent, kurang bijak and less credible in managing the entire financial and economy of Malaysia. Unlike Dr M looks like “BAD PM” during his 22 years of iron fist rule but he had successfully developed the nation and avoided the fiscal crisis in Malaysia.

    (e) Malaysians regretted their decisions knocking their heads on the walls for revoting Pak Lah to head the nation. Pak Lah unkind and kurang bijak announcement on increased fuel price above 42% in petrol and 63% in diesel price had caused a spiral of BIG FIRE in the economy and financial position in Malaysian. Malaysians faced with various increased of prices of goods and services for past 2 months and the daily prices kept on increasing beyond the control of stupid BN leaders.

Both politicians in BN and Pakatan Rakyat are fighting for personal interests and avoiding the people interest today. Malaysians called all politicians should solve the problems among themselves before making it a public issue. We are fed up with all useless problems in their parties and dont benefits the rakyat and nation.

Many Malaysians interviewed today lamented over the rising costs of living that was more difficult to manage now. More Malaysians are becoming slave workers need to do two or three jobs in order to meet their basis survival lodging and food end of the day. The lowing standard of living of Malaysians are becoming bad to worse to worst by days due to the poor governance and corrupted leaders decision to enrish themselves and caused the nation poorer by days.

The rich businessmen and politicians are becoming rich to richer to richest with the prices hike thanked the BN greed government for passing the price increased motion in the Parliament. How about the 100% increased in income for directors and croonies in CGL and plcs caused more damages to the economy in Malaysia ? The higher income group do not really have to worry about the rising costs of living, but it is the lower and middle-income groups who will be affected.

“There is too much politicking and too little performance. People expect quality leadership from elected leaders but instead are being served with a great deal of polarisation and there is a poverty of ideas,” said Transparency International president Tan Sri Ramon V. Navaratnam.

“The latest political development where leaders accuse one another of immoral conduct certainly does not boost public confidence and it gives Malaysia a bad international image,” said National Evangelical Christian Fellowship Malaysia secretary-general Rev Wong Kim Kong.

We agreed with both statements reported in The Star on Sunday, 7/7/2008.

Lastly, Malaysians cried non-stop daily and charged out loud, “Nobody is bothered about our suffering,”.

What the PM and DPM are more concerns about their own greeds to stay on power and let their croonies/ goonies to enrich themselves with the nation rich resources at the expenditures of the poor rakyat Malaysia?

Malaysians are so proud to say, MALAYSIA BOLEH !
Foreigners are so proud to say, MALAYSIA APA PUN BOLEH CAKAP CAKAP AJE !

Now let change all arrogant land corrupt leaders cum politicians today but not the good people running the civil services for the better future of Malaysia. If you and we believed the best ways to stop the political power play gripping the nation – JOM PROTEST & JOM TUKAR !” said Anak Tuanku Bangsa Malaysia.

    The country is in shamble!
    1. The government leaders who are primarily UMNUputras are the most corrupted and no-liew (they’re just there by the connection, not actual capability) lot. Everyone knows that except themselves; they keep telling people to put their trust in the government, police and judiciary but we know they are most untrustworthy lot! What nonsense are they talking!
    2. They don’t learn their lesson after the 308. They are still branding non-Malays as foreigners. They are the culprits who are trying to stir up racial tension but when you protest, they would play their ISA card!
    3. They try to stir up inter-racial tension on the dialogue session on social contract by Bar council. What’s wrong to look into what has gone wrong with its ‘deviation’ from the original goal? They shouldn’t feel threatened if they have not made use of it as a mask to enrich themselves!

Read what the two ADUN and MP morons from UMNO had voiced out loudly and clearly in Perak Assembly and House of Parliament in Malaysia:-

    (a) Sg Rapat ADUN Hamidah statement meanings to say “all INDIAN communities are worst than SNAKES”?

    (b) Pasir Salak, Datuk Tajudin Abdul Rahman statement in Dewan Rakyat said ” Non Malays are immigrant races” to Malaysia.

The TRUE faces are coming out from UMNO when their Morons are heroing their serious racist ideas in Malaysia.

A DARK HISTORY FOR MALAYSIA TODAY.

Sometimes I’m extremely angered by the way the authorities orchestrating issues in Malaysia. Most of these issues are politically motivated and planned by our ruling party leaders themselves. But when it is countered with similar accusation it becomes the plot of opposition. How many such cases we had in the past fabricated by opposition? And than all of sudden our most responsible DPM would come out condemning dirty politics in Malaysia.

Ordinary citizens in Malaysia have almost lost their voice despite the overwhelming victory of opposition parties in Malaysia. Our politicians are busy to defend their position and power and for that willing to do anything. Hardship of ordinary people is not important for them anymore. We seem to be heading to a bleak future. What is the point as I see that; the police, the judiciary and head of powerful legal system all have completely enslaved themselves for personal gain and glory?

I wonder sometimes why good people turn bad. I think despite with all religious values the government boasts, the fact remains the leaders are actually bankrupts of any values and are real hypocritics.

We need to highlight our plights for good governance in Malaysia. We need good and honest cops who don’t take sides; we need an AG who sticks to the law of this country who refuses to be enslaved by UMNO masters or anyone for that matter; we need honest judges who could uphold judiciary to their last breadth and refuse to entertain politicians and others who have vested interest.

I also use to contemplate this idea at times. Suppose if I’m not married, suppose if I don’t have family responsibilities what I could do to compel this government to become transparent and honest? What if I call for all media of local and world to announce to them that as ordinary citizen I’m fed up and lost faith in Malaysia’s system of ruling and therefore I want to sacrifice my life by burning myself to die. It would be well worth if this country learns its’ lesson, wouldn’t it?

    Protes Rally

Sorry for the digression, but this morning at 10am I was at the PROTES, an anti-fuel hike rally at Stadium Kelana Jaya, PJ. There were already about 15,000 people. The organizers are targeting to get one million people. It is a whole day event where some of the top braas from the PR will give speeches at 8pm. This morning the NGOs and some from PR parties gave speeches.

It has a festive mood, more of a family outing. Police presence was very minimal. Also some heavy media presence, local and international.

It is a relatively ‘safe’ anti-fuel price hike rally for the govt compared to the street demonstrations and lorry drivers protest in other countries.

There were many Malays and Indians. The Chinese are mainly from the NGOs. How nice if the Chinese community can make their presence felt. I hope they can be as hard hitting in the ballot box and blogging as in the real world to make their physical presence count. It is time to make a stand.

We can make a stand on other than the fuel price hike, but all other concerns like safety of Bala and his family, the Altantuya case, corruption, etc. by being there tonight at Kelana Jaya stadium.

Your words and comments in the blogs are priceless to fight for our rights. Now rally your family, friends and comrades behind you and make a beeline to the rally by 8pm and your physical presence are even more valuable than anything else now.
