YB Lim, I would like to commend you on your splendid and outstanding performance at parliament. Malaysia is lucky to have you in its parliament!

Could you please upload the full video of the debate? I am sure many Malaysians are curious to find out what happened, as RPK is close to our heart.

  5. #5 by yhsiew on Wednesday, 7 May 2008 - 11:25 pm

I don’t think RPK, while in custody, should go on hunger strike and refuse to see any body including his wife. By so doing, he would not get any advantage – at least it will not change the decision of the authorities.

Why not just pay the RM5,000 bail, come out of jail and garner support from the Mongolian Embassy in Malaysia, bloggers groups, NGOs, international media associations, etc to put pressure on the government.

RPK can even consider emailing non-seditious reports on Altantuya’s case and court hearing developments to US, UK and other Western countries for publication in their Electronic Media and see how the people there react. I am sure the people there are interested as Altantuya’s case has shocked the world!

Hey Uncle Kit, I really salute you. Had me laughing my ass off at video 2, 1:02 – 2:45. An old man like you still so sharp and witty, we young generation must really learn to have half your courage. And thank you for sticking up for RPK; it’s becomingly uneasy to watch the authorities get away with so many things.

  7. #7 by devilmaster on Thursday, 8 May 2008 - 12:27 am

Told you. The recent announcement by Pak Helah on whatever reforms was just a cosmetic exercise in response to March 8 political tsunami and his own party leadership survival. There is nothing concrete being done at all.

As long as BN is not thrown out, JUSTICE will not surface in Bolehland.

  8. #8 by cklow_67 on Thursday, 8 May 2008 - 12:59 am

Beside tis, I believe and see how YB Lim and his family sacrifised their life for our nation. I sincerely give my respect to YB Lim and his family. You are great!

  9. #9 by Jane on Thursday, 8 May 2008 - 1:39 am

YB Lim, your courage and stand really inspired us citizen to fight for our rights. They can try to hide the truth from us, but we are not blind and we know whats going on.

can somebody confirm that he’s actually refusing to see anyone and not the POLIS who’re claiming that?

  11. #11 by xplora on Thursday, 8 May 2008 - 4:22 am

LKS Thanks for continuously fighting , FOR OUR PRESS FREEDOM!!!

Now the government also want to block our internet freedom. In the future, BN will filter us from going to youtube, cnn, bbc etc like china. Luckily the minister of misinformation (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jfpYZ4IGenY) lost his seat, if not our country will become even more misinformation, I can’t believe this type of minister can be in cabinet plus some more as minister of information with lack of english or language communications. Too bad kinabatang clown MP is still around.

I can says,BN is really really DARKSIDE …

  13. #13 by ENDANGERED HORNBILL on Thursday, 8 May 2008 - 6:44 am

MP Gombak asked MP Ipoh Timur what is the best way for DPM to clear his name for the sake of his family and the good name of the nation.

DPM Najib Tun Razak, why don’t you make an appearance in Parliament and castigate, correct and clear your name amongst Parliamentarians, to begin with? As PM-to-be or rather, PM-aspirant, you’ve to command the confidence of MPs and not let MPs badmouth you or allow insinuations to linger and dry on the lips of MPs. Otherwise, as MP Gombak has said, you will never be able to stop taxi drivers, coffeshop idlers, professional ‘housewives’, bloggers, political commentators, the passengers on the MRT, LRT and RapidKL buses, executives around the coffeebars, revellers in the pubs, university students and schoolboys, businessman and investors, diplomats and the ‘underworld’ etc. etc. etc. (comprising the whole Malaysia, big chunks of ASIA and the better part of a watching world)…..talk and talk and talk about the sweet Altantuya, Razak and Razak.

  14. #14 by ENDANGERED HORNBILL on Thursday, 8 May 2008 - 6:46 am

    xplora Says:

    “Today at 04: 22.08 (2 hours ago)
Too bad kinabatang clown MP is still around.”

Notice Kinabatangan never has anything original to say! He is a specialist iin interrruptions and ejaculations!

  15. #15 by ENDANGERED HORNBILL on Thursday, 8 May 2008 - 6:53 am

Oh Najib, besides university students …university professors too, I suspect.

MP Azmin also included the highest ranking civil servants besides taxi drivers. There is a long common thread criss-crossing the country and joining all conversation pieces.

Oh Najib, if you don’t do something quickly, you may just enter into the GUINNESS BOOK OF WORLD RECORDS for all the wrong reasons, for being the most talked-about DPM in the world and also in the other world where LOrd Denning confers with Altantuya to send her murderers to hell.

Oh Najib, do something. And do it quickly! [deleted]

BTW, can the Prison authorities hand RPK back his PC and give him a broadband card so that he can continue to blog from prison? We miss his updates, revelations and sensations already.

With RPK blogging from prison and Tony Pua/Jeff Ooi blogging from Parliament, we have just about covered the whole country..oh, no, notjust yet. We r waiting for PM and DPM to blog from Putrajaya.

  17. #17 by vchi on Thursday, 8 May 2008 - 8:27 am

YB Lim did the RIGHT MOVE in denying Kinabatangan the floor. The scenario if YB Lim ‘bagi jalan’:

Kinabatangan stands up and starts making accusations with his unneccesarily loud (when he started speaking, I had to tone down the volume on my computer) voice, Pakatan MPs will stand up and retaliate, and then the floor with descend into chaos. So it is good that Kinabatangan was denied the floor so that the issue could stay on topic.

In Malaysia, which department own & control C4? Who authorize the use of them if it is not high profile? Why after 2 yrs the case have yet close? Is it becos they are rich and report to Na jis (/b) who are still in power. During Tun time, although he might look corrupted but he’s not criminals, is all about business, Donald Trump rule, nothing personal.

Are they going to charge every Malaysian Bloggers who write anything bad abt. Njis, or is Njis is the real person? why is Njis so sissy, scare been expose and relate to the case if he have nothing to scare or guilty abt.

The truth is its digging up the issue of submarine and copter commision, very relevant, that Najib can ill-afford with the coming Dec election. Its why LKS and others raising this issue is relevant and important. Its about promised reform. Najib taking over the leadership will see the rollback of reform…

  21. #21 by LauTew1 on Thursday, 8 May 2008 - 9:21 am

A great publicity stunt. Publicity ratio increases by refusing to post bail, refusing to see wife and refusing to eat. Now he is hero rathar than villian and danger to public peace and safety.

I hope he rots in prison!

  22. #22 by undergrad2 on Thursday, 8 May 2008 - 9:23 am

The issue is whether RPK by his statements made in his blog “brought into hatred or contempt or excited disaffection against the administration of justice”.

My argument is that there is already “hatred, contempt and disaffection” before he even wrote about the Altantuya case on his blog! He did not, therefore, do anything “to bring” hatred or contempt or disaffection against the administration of justice. It was already there!

Like what YB Kit said, from the taxi driver to the highest levels of government, there is that feeling that all is not well with the administration of justice in the country. We don’t need to go into details as to why it was so.

So RPK’s written statments on his blog did not have that seditious tendencies as referred to under Sec. 3 (1) of the Act.
It does not meet the definition of “tendency” and so how could it be seditious?

  23. #23 by yhsiew on Thursday, 8 May 2008 - 9:34 am

Why are the police so quick, so zealous and efficient in taking action against RPK and Anwar’s celebration of returning to politics last month? Who/what motivates them to “work so hard”? I am sure the police have other more urgent and important things to do than merely taking action against RPK and Anwar.

Kit, push for the full implementation of the 125 recommendations of the Royal Police commission and the establishment of an Independent Police Complaints and Misconduct Commission (IPCMC) to stop unseen hands from interfering with the police force.

Malaysia can only regain its international image and respect when there are meaningful and concrete judicial and police reforms.

  26. #26 by nazryan on Thursday, 8 May 2008 - 10:53 am

It’s really annoying and distressing nowdays.

It’s unbecoming of BN and they becoming more desperate these days.

If RPK can be charged on seditious, YB Karpal can be called a ‘traitor’, the good and noble Sun reporters called for interview (more to me of intimidating), then whom and whose gonna stand up for us – normal and abiding citizen if we are concerned, cared or worried about all the injustice, corruptions etc.

Feel like we’re into a ‘Gestapo’ state these days, with one body act like SS, there is the Propaganda body, media being controlled and harrassed…. yes offcourse Germany flourish and prosper during those time but definately not free except for a handful of people.

No to BN, yes to PR! That’s the only way out now…

  27. #27 by nazryan on Thursday, 8 May 2008 - 11:04 am

    Opppsss…

I myself may be charged as well under the Seditious Act just by saying the “G” word.

  28. #28 by Short-sleeve on Thursday, 8 May 2008 - 11:25 am

Whack these goons. Dont let the murderers of Altantuya get away.

RPK is what a true Malaysian is about.

  29. #29 by ShiokGuy on Thursday, 8 May 2008 - 11:30 am

The free RPK picture/Logo is available at Malaysia Today
I think we all Blogger should carry it on the upper left corner of our blogger.

I start the ball rolling by inserting the picture on my blog (without permission from Malaysia today), please notify me if you have any objection.

I have a posting for those who has done the same, just add your blog address at the comment page, do not need to write anything. Silent is Gold! Thats why RPK is not seeing anyone now.

RP going on hunger strike….another GHandi? on the good side let him loose some weight…..he’s too fat anyway.

  36. #36 by Bobster on Thursday, 8 May 2008 - 11:58 am

Time for DAP, PKR, PAS and every Rakyat Malaysia who avocate justice and truth to stand up and call for release of RPK.

If RPK did not pull all the 3 parties together before 8 March 2008 to prevent 3 conner fight and initiated the formation of Barisan Rakyat which renamed Pakatan Rakyat, BN could not have lost 2/3 majority.

Hope every members, non-members and concerned citizens can stand up for RPK and his family as they walk thru the valley of darkness. The truth shall set you free RPK.

The more their harass and punish the innocents, the sooner BN will be destroyed in the coming days.

  37. #37 by lextcs on Thursday, 8 May 2008 - 11:59 am

we are losing ourselves……while all those clowns are play acting in the parlimen, fundamental issues are not solved. All we get is to see the BIG show. Meanwhile inflation is eating up our wealth.

  38. #38 by lextcs on Thursday, 8 May 2008 - 12:00 pm

  39. #39 by ilovedap on Thursday, 8 May 2008 - 12:00 pm

  42. #42 by seage on Thursday, 8 May 2008 - 12:13 pm

Hahahaha Ilovedap… good one. But seriously, lextcs might just THE “big foot”! only a big foot would have some hairy A$S comment like “RP going on hunger strike….another GHandi? on the good side let him loose some weight…..he’s too fat anyway.”[lextcs] What a classic! Another of those “bocor” big foot.

  43. #43 by ilovedap on Thursday, 8 May 2008 - 12:16 pm

issues to be urgently addresss are…double parkings, random parkings, beating trafffic lights, throwing rubbish, etc…..you would not believe the way people park their cars during those peak school periods….no wonder children grows up to become monsters…

  48. #48 by lextcs on Thursday, 8 May 2008 - 12:27 pm

we all should be more proactive in those things that would benefit the society in the long term……not fighting for someone else ideology or agenda. In the end it boils down to what benefits us. Address issues like inflation, economic activities etc…other than that its a total waste of time. I dont see you guys coughing out to help the cyclone victims who definately deserves that money….why help a millionaire who put out some stunts just to attract some symphathy and attention?

  49. #49 by JACK THE RIPPER on Thursday, 8 May 2008 - 12:32 pm

The Empire Strikes back was becuase UMNO are running out of plot.
The Bloody Seditious act & ISA is colony law,.. then came with OSA & 1984 Media/Printing Act all these in other word is called Hukum Rimba (Law of the Jungle).. All this BN Self Defense laws shall be abolished at all cost.

MCA are not sincerely wanted help Chinese communities. Its a proven truth since Tan Ciew Chen.. like pa ciew chen. Tipu all the ways to the core then now MCA got is Wong Brother.

But now this MCA even better that way, they are even toothless after the 308 tsunami.

We shall all Support and Appreciate these People whom Uphold the PROGRESS of True Democracy and those Risk their lives to Flight for the Future of All Rakyat of Malaysia. (For Bangsa Malaysia).

Many thanks To Tokoh-Tokoh of Pakatan Rakyat & RPK.

    Salam Reformasi.

Well what lexttcs is doing right now is personality attack similar what those desperados did when they know they are at the losing side prior to PRU 12.

First they bask in their own glory of what they have did for the past years.. the so call report card
Then they come out with only BN can ensure the safety, peacefull and wellbeing of Malaysian
And when they know that all these doesn’t work, they go for personality attack like how they attack DSAI, I was so supprised they attack him only.

Off course there are many issues like what you mentioned traffic lights, throwing rubbish ext. but if our fundemental rights are not protected and free, don’t even dare to think of all those small things…

I think you should report to your master of your failing to do or convincing or maybe annoying people here with your nonsense.
