"Its been a while now and no news from Zaid Ibrahim over the progress. Its been stalled as we speak…."

Remember that "Sht" Muzaphar promise to reveal the experimental result of his space voyage. Where is it now?

Remember that OTK plan to reveal the PKFZ scandals, where is it now?

Remember PL reform? where is it now.

The BN govt. is a bunch of liars, that's what keep foreigner away from Malaysia. It is an excuse to say, China and India are competitive place to invest. It is the BN govt. who made Malaysian less competitive:-

When foreigner plan to invest USD 1 billionth:-

1) Must subscribe from Malay contractor or concession, this is owned by UMNO
2) Any foreigner CEO coming to Malaysia to invest more than USD 1 billionth will be granted "Datukship" e.g. Datuk Michael Dell (Founder and CEO of Dell), Agilent ex CEO "Datuk Ned Barnholt"
3) All the manufacturers CEO, Director, or Managing Director are compulsory to contribute or donate when UMNO is having functions.
4) Penalized for supporting opposition party.

As much as I agree with every point Sdr. Lim has pointed out there. The cynic in me tells me that the so called independent judicial appointment commission will also fall a bit short.
"The Prime Minister recently announced reform proposals for the judiciary and in the fight against corruption."

This is not new, 4 yrs ago he was granted 91% mandate from the ppl. (in fact ppl. are been lied, stupid Malaysian).

After proving he is a bloody liar, ppl. has become smarter now then vote against him.

PL still did not get the message, what Rakyat want is a just judiciary not a corrupted one only then Malaysian can proseper, why they don't pig but do have those pig characteristic, slow, and just know how to eat.

PL always criticized Malaysians of having a Third world mindset. Frankly, I don't see how PL and Lajip's mindsets could be better than Third world's in matters pertaining to human rights, judicial reform and press reform.

How can we take the judgments of Malaysian judges for granted if after convicting DSAI for so many years, Dr. M comes out and say he has in fact "wronged" DSAI on purpose years back? So on what grounds did the trial judge base on when passing sentence then? Wasn't that a "misjudgment" on his part? And today, we still find him sitting in some High Court in Malaya, passing similar "misjudgment". Is this how Malaysia look at JUSTICE????

Is Zaid already resting? Someone should hound him on a daily basis.

Don't let my skepticism win this gamble - that it's really a delaying tactic, and that it's all hot air with nothing to show so far, or when it is shown, it is another half baked measure like Special Complaints Commission.

I beg to differ. Thieve do reform! They reform their ways of doing their business of looting and plundering. They bring new tools to their tool bag – and they stay away from dangerous anti-depressants.

Compensation on the one hand is an admission of wrongdoing, but by refusing to admit their mistakes in sacking these judges, the BN government contradicts itself. So are they saying that we pay you ex-gratia payment without admission of liability???

Zaid Ibrahim recommends an apology to Salleh Abas, but UMNO says no. Lee Hwa Beng says he wants an independent auditor for the PKFTZ scandal, and I am willing to bet lots of money than UMNO will also say no.

Only when UMNO is totally cleansed with new blood at the very top can reform occur.

The BN government can give RM1 each to them for all we care but it would go a long way to compensate them and all Malaysians for their sufferings, the embarrassment, the humiliation and the disgrace if that is also accompanied by an unconditional apology, and an acknowledgement that the time has come for change, that we can no longer wait for justice to be restored and compensation made to the victims of an unfair justice system, that there is a need to restore our confidence in the judiciary and then outlining what steps need to be taken and the time frame.
