you know, gomen is wasting public fund to broadcast RTM 1 and 2,almost 1.6 million family subscribed to Astro,we dun mind paying extra, when you watch stations like AXN or CNN,do you switch back to RTM 1,2 ,9 or 3?It's non-patriotic if you keep-on watching foreigners' channel you know(it was once quoted by many of the 'katak dibawah tempurong party's MPs!)?
Imagine when you r watching M.U. vs ARSENAL,in the midst of the game, you were asked to switch to RTM2 for Merdeka Cup Final:M'sia vs Myanmar, would you do that?
So,pls shut down the RTM 1 and 2,otherwise the kampong folks still live behind time,or is this what they want?(sorry, out of topic a little while):-0

DarkHorse,

You may return to where you originated from, your homeland site you suggested, for which I have no time, being only concerned with issues of national importance, with likelihood of international repercussions.

Focus on the issue of somnambulant governance, not me, and try to suggest ideas to improve governance for our sake and the sake of your children's future, instead of indulging in somniloquy.

The UMNO led “government” does not want to listen to public complaints, especially coming from non-muslims and non-bumis. Every complaint will get typical responses in the controlled media like “we will act on it”, “we are listening”, “you must use the legal channel”, “we are fair to everyone”, “we will help you”, but they are all blatant lies to give a false impression to the public that everything is OK in the country, that they are doing a great job. This is the most incompetent, dishonest, and corrupted “government”. Oppressed citizens will continue to take matters to the streets as there are no more avenues for justice and fairness in this country. We ask for serious help from member countries of the United Nations council for human rights, especially the US and EU, and the international media to expose the apartheid policies in Malaysia. We also ask them to impose international sanctions, overseas asset freezing, and travel restrictions on the corrupt UMNO “leaders”.

His memory is like an old 5.25 inch diskette with a maximum of 720KB of data and diminishing by the day due to fungi infestation. And his excuse is “Baru turun padang 15 minit…” -- k1980

Never mind, be more generous, credit him with a hard disk.

In the mid 80s, a Control Data hard disk, 4.5" thick, 60MB cost RM3600.
Today a Seagate hard disk, less than 0.75" thick, 250,000MB (250GB) cost RM250.

Basing on Cost/Unit of memory alone, not to mention Cost/Performance ratio, hard disk memory cost is 60,000 X more expensive than 20 years ago.

How do we measure the performance of our Prime Minister?

We are frustrated with the increasingly high cost of living, with spiraling prices of fuel, flour, bread, vegetable, etc, etc, process, and quality of life plunging with spiraling crime rates, religious intolerance, decreasing educational and job opportunities, etc, etc.

Cost of living/Quality of life index ratio may not be 60,000 X worse off today than under previous Prime Ministers, but could be quite substantial. There may be better yardsticks for comparisons. Some economists may be able to enlighten us here.

However, in order to have a fair and balanced view, we need to be aware of the fallacy of comparing the progress in computer hardware, which follows Moore’s Law with the performance of a Prime Minster who follows Draconian Laws. It may serve to highlight our points, but would be grossly unfair to compare apples with oranges.

An example (a joke) of a stinging response to an attempt to compare the computer industry with the auto industry -- a more plausible comparison -- is reproduced below:

At a recent computer expo (COMDEX), Bill Gates reportedly compared the computer industry with the auto industry and stated:
"If GM had kept up with technology like the computer industry has, we would be driving twenty-five dollar cars that got 1000 miles to the gallon."

In response to Bill's comments, GM issued a press release stating (by Mr. Welch himself):
If GM had developed technology like Microsoft, we would be driving cars with the following characteristics:
1. For no reason whatsoever your car would crash twice a day.
2. Every time they repainted the lines on the road you would have to buy a new car.
3. Occasionally your car would die on the freeway for no reason, and you would just accept this, restart and drive on.
4. Occasionally, executing a maneuver such as a left turn, would cause your car to shut down and refuse to restart, in which case you would have to reinstall the engine.
5. Only one person at a time could use the car, unless you bought "Car95" or "CarNT." But then you have would have to buy more seats.
6. Macintosh would make a car that was powered by the sun, reliable, five times as fast, and twice as easy to drive, but would only run on five percent of the roads.
7. The oil, water temperature and alternator warning lights would be replaced by a single "general car default" warning light.
8. New seats would force everyone to have the same size butt.
9. The airbag system would say "Are you sure?" before going off.
10. Occasionally for no reason whatsoever, your car would lock you out and refuse to let you in until you simultaneously lifted the door handle, turned the key, and grab hold of the radio antenna.
11. GM would require all car buyers to also purchase a deluxe set of Rand McNally road maps (now a GM subsidiary), even though they neither need them nor want them. Attempting to delete this option would immediately cause the car's performance to diminish by 50% or more. Moreover, GM would become a target for investigation by the Justice Department.
12. Every time GM introduced a new model car buyers would have to learn how to drive all over again because none the controls would operate in the same manner as the old car.
13. You'd press the "start" button to shut off the engine.

Mahathir is just a better conman than AAB. AAB nose's grow longer and longer, while Mahathir's dont. He just manage to cross his fingers while he makes promises hence nullifying it all.

Somehow, we feel nostalgic about the certainty and forcefulness that came with Tun Dr Mahathir, even though we were dead set against his dictatorial ways. AAB on the other hand is not only displaying a lack of intellectual sharpness, he simply lacks the sense of urgency. This country is doomed unless he is removed from power, together with those who are sucking up to him just so that he leaves them alone to wreck havoc on the rest of Malaysians.

I don't know why but I still remember the "advertisement" before the last general election. They showed it every 30 minutes, I think. The media influence is damn strong.
There was a voice asking God to give this servant the strength to administer this country. Berilah kekuatan kepada hambaMu... something... Still remember ?
Looks like God is not on his side afte rall these years...

Other thing in mind is why "non-muslim affair", as if only non-muslim has problem, or not important to look into muslim's affair. Why can't be just "religious affair" to deal with all religion related affairs? Similar idea to Bangsa Malaysia for all, not by race.

Enough talk, just vote wisely when it is election. If you people still cross for BN/UMNO, you deserve it, period. There is no excuse in the world for you people to deserve something good when the choice is so obvious. The most dissapointing of people are those who kept thinking they must vote BN for the sake of peace and stability. They are so ready to be conned and believe is like they are under a spell. No they willingly fall under a spell to be exact. These are the worst kind of people who cannot differentiate between what is wrong and what is right.

Nazri is stupid [deleted]

He challenged Hindraf street protesters to form political
party to 'fight' the UMNO in the next GE rather than be
cowards...!!

Indirectly he, as a law minister, is telling people that if
the Indians have grievances and issues, they cannot
picket or have a peaceful protest march to voice out
their grief!!

Similarly it is likened to say that when you want to talk
to law minister, you must first become a lawyer before
you are qualified to do that...!! Ha, ha, isn't it ABSURD???

Memang Bodoh dan bangang law minister kita!!
